A welcome address was given by Dr Aleka Sheppard, Founder and Chairman, LSLC Maritime Business Forum. Dr Sheppard led a rousing tribute to the Centre’s President, Lord Mustill of Pateley Bridge. Jonathan Webb, a partner with principal sponsors Holman Fenwick Willan, announced that his firm would make an extra Christmas financial donation to the Mission to Seafarers to reflect his organisation’s appreciation of Lord Mustill’s contribution to the development of commercial, particularly maritime, law.
