Danny Sullivan is a legendary race car driver who is best known for his 360-degree spin on lap 120 of the 1985 Indianapolis 500. He was attempting to pass Mario Andretti and after recovering from the spin, he led the last 61 laps to become the 69th winner of the Indy 500 and the moniker “Spin to Win.” Danny is also known for being one of the first “big” personalities in motorsports by using his fame to help promote his sponsors and his likeness through appearances on late-night talk shows, in movies and other forms of media. Danny’s promotional prowess was good and NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Jeff Gordon says he emulated him throughout his racing career. Danny was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2012 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 2022. He remains active as a TV personality, producer, and entrepreneur, staying involved in many forms of racing and business. Danny is here to share his latest venture, Racers Roundtable with Danny Sullivan and Tony Stewart.
Ginger Baker Rust comes to you from Mooresville, North Carolina, aka “Race City U.S.A.”. She’s a motorsports sports agent with decades of corporate marketing and experience, accolades, and achievements. Ginger was the Chief Marketing Officer for Ryan Newman, ddriver of the #6 Ford in the Nascar Cup Series. She’s the one behind the scenes who works corporate partnerships, contracts, and the business side of various global motorsports. If you have seen the movie Jerry Maguire, her day-to-day operations are pretty much what Tom Cruise’s character does. She is a well-respected, behind-the-scenes powerhouse in the world of motorsports and had earned the nickname “Lady Mavrik” as she is well-respected and has built a solid reputation with everyone from the series owners, drivers, team owners, pit crews, hauler drivers, and the media outlets. Ginger is an amateur racer who earned an NHRA Dragster Pilot’s license in 2021, and in 2020, earned an ECTA land speed record in a 2020 Yenko Camero street car in the Modern Street/Blown 8-Cylinder category with a 199.557 mph pass on the 1.25 mile course, which made her the second-fastest woman in the history of the class and the third fastest in the history of the national ECTA event.
Whit Montross is responsible for running the day-to-day operations for Hagerty Marketplace. He and his team review thousands of submissions each year to ensure they are bringing the best ones to market with fair reserves. They work with sellers to make sure their listings are accurate and highlight their vehicles properly. Whit has been with Hagerty for over 10 years, much of that time was in their service center underwriting insurance and talking with Hagerty members. At Hagerty their goal is to ensure and preserve Save Driving and Fuel Car Culture for future generations. Whit built his first race car in the back of Hagerty’s Colorado office. He currently races a 1967 BMW 1600 with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing. Whit and Hagerty’s love for connecting with fellow enthusiasts combine with helping to make the collector car world more fun for all involved.
Randy Leffingwell is an author, writer, and photographer who has spent over five decades in the automotive sector. He worked for the Kansas City Star and then in Chicago with the Sun-Times. His passion for automobiles led him to AutoWeek magazine and the L.A. Times. He’s written many articles for Pete Stout’s 000 magazine due to his vast knowledge of the Porsche marque and Randy has authored 65 books. Photography is a significant part of his life to this day. Today he is here to share his book Against All the Others: Porsche’s Racing History, Volume 1-1968, from David Bull Publishers. The book meticulously details technical developments, the nuances of each racing venue, and offers race-by-race commentary. At 432 pages it is an intensive and keen insight into the personalities and their approaches taken in the cockpit for Porsche.

Stacey Mayfield is the Director for the Haas Moto Museum. The Texas-based motorcycle museum is named after its founder, Bobby Haas. Bobby and Stacey, working side-by-side, curated one of the world’s most thoughtfully assembled collection of motorcycles, including an unparalleled custom collection including acquisitions and commissioned bikes from around the globe. Following the death of Bobby Haas, she worked to keep this treasure trove of motorcycle history together and is proud to be reopening the Haas Moto Museum in a new, larger location in North Dallas. She and her team proudly share not only these beautiful bikes but the impactful story each one tells. Stacey is also the executive producer on two documentary films documenting the life and accomplishments of Bobby Haas, including Leaving Tracks (2021) and the soon to be released Racing Mister Fahrenheit. She recently released a beautiful photographic book entitled “The Motorcycle,” which chronicles the 13 decades of motorcycle history housed at the Haas Moto Museum.

Art Garner is an award-winning author and finalist for the prestigious PEN/ESPN award for literary sports writing for his bestselling book, Black Noon, The Year They Stopped the Indy 500. For over 40 years he worked for Ford, Toyota, Lexus, and Honda, before retiring in 2014 to finish that first book. That book is about the tragic 1964 race that was stopped by a fiery accident on the second lap resulting in the deaths of drivers Eddie Sachs and Dave MacDonald. He also co-wrote a book titled Indy 500 Memories and another, Hood to Coast Memories, about the relay running race from Mt. Hood to the coast of Oregon. Art is the author of the new biography, A.J. Foyt, Survivor, Champion, Legend, that has just been released by Octane Press. He's been working on the Foyt bio for the past five years and this is just volume one, which covers A.J.’s career through 1977. Volume Two is expected in May of 2026.

Kenneth K. Boyer combines a lifelong love of cars and engineering with a career focused on management and supply chain. He's the Fisher designated professor of operations and business analytics at Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University. He was coeditor-in-chief of the Journal of Operations Management, and served on the faculty at Michigan State and DePaul universities. Boyer is a member of the Academy of Management, Production and Operations Management Society, and the Decision Sciences Institute. Recently, he visited Vietnam to study Vinfast's rise. He's published numerous academic articles and two books. His latest is The Electric Vehicle Revolution: Five Visionaries Leading the Charge. The book takes a deep dive into the worldwide transition from ICE vehicles to EVs.
