He was about 10 when his dad first let him drive a truck, and soon afterward he was eagerly helping to work on them as well. At 18, he started driving legally, working at his dad’s excavating company in Michigan. It was there that he cut his teeth pulling heavy haul doubles, end dump, and RGN.
