EP 415 | Why surveying your clients is your business’s hidden superpower
Asking your clients questions is a really important part of the client journey.

It can sometimes feel like you’re creating in a vacuum. Especially with things like courses, digital products, and even sometimes memberships, you don’t have a ton of interaction with your clients. So creating a culture of surveying them, to get them to talk to you, is a necessary part of the client experience process.

So in today’s episode I wanted to talk more about surveys, when to use them, and how you can start to get more feedback from your clients with surveys.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Surveys are a fantastic way to take the "temperature" of your audience and clients.
    • Get creative with where and how you can use surveys in your business. The more opportunities for your audience and clients to share their experiences and thoughts, the better!
    • On-boarding surveys can help you understand why somebody enrolled in your program and what they want to accomplish. They can also be helpful in determining how to improve a program.
    • Monthly check-in surveys help you to check in with your clients. They can help you to understand what they are finding helpful in your program, what they are learning, and if they are seeing results.

EP 414 | Investing in yourself featuring Kwadwo Sampany-Kessie
Kwadwo – (sounds like QUĀY.jo) – is the host of The Art of Online Business podcast with 849 episodes and 4.92M downloads, a Meta ads manager and online business strategist, specializing in serving established online course creators with annual earnings ranging from $250,000 to $1.2 million.

But unlike most ads managers, he doesn't just bring in quality leads. With over three years of experience, he excels in optimizing funnels and providing marketing, sales, operations and hiring guidance. All of which enable his clients to work less, earn more, and live the life they were meant for.

Since January 2020 Kwadwo has resided in central Mexico with his wife and two kids after an ill timed vacation (right before the pandemic started) ended his 12 years of living in China. He speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, decent Spanish and firmly believes that everyone should experience international travel and engage with different cultures.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Hire a business coach and listen to their advice. Find someone who has success in a similar business to you who can show you the way forward because they know the challenges you are up against.
    • Learn to collaborate. It is a great way to meet and learn about other people like yourself who are running really intriguing online businesses, profitably. Team up with people that compliment your business.
    • Get in the room. Get in masterminds and coaching groups. Get around like-minded individuals so you can work together to grow.

EP 413 | How AI Assistants are transforming my business
We’ve all seen content written by ChatGPT using words like “unleash”, “uplevel”, or “game changer” and it all sounds generic, and robotic, and ridiculously insincere.

But I have to tell you that AI assistants, quite honestly, are transforming my business. The reality of the situation is that if I want to grow my business this year, I need more time. And so adding AI tools has helped me spend less time having to learn or do new things. I’m sure you need or want more time too!

So in this week's 6-Figure Secrets Podcast episode I'm sharing how I'm using AI and how AI Assistants support my business.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • There’s nothing that’s not possible with AI. Be open and willing to try new things. AI can help you find ways to solve problems in your business in a different way you might not have tried before.
    • AI is not the enemy. It’s a tool to help you work smarter, not harder. You owe it to yourself to do the work to find an easier and better way to do things in your business. Make it work for you.
    • You’re never married to anything in your business. You can always shift your programs when the industry shifts. If AI can change something in your business to better serve your clients or members, why not give it a try?

    EP 412 | The 4 A's of a successful pre-launch featuring Brenna McGowan
Brenna McGowan is launch strategist and copywriter. She believes that hustle-based, high-pressure program launches don’t serve you or your customers. Instead, she teaches a systemized pre-launch process to put leads through so they’re primed, pre-sold, qualified, and raring to buy your offer.

By leveraging her pre-launch and Anticipation Marketing™ strategies, Brenna’s clients have tripled — and even quadrupled launch revenue growth — without the frenzy and chaos they used to feel when launching. She also helps her students inside The Pre-Launch Plan Program create strategic pre-launch plans that’ve raked in hundreds of thousands in revenue.

When Brenna’s not strategizing or helping clients launch, you can find her walking in her Northern California neighborhood, continuing her endless search for the perfect white t-shirt, reading cheesy romance books, or coming to terms with soon becoming an empty-nester.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Breanna shares with us her 4 A's for a successful pre-launch. She says that building in these 4 A's before sales period can make a massive difference.
    • One of the first things to do in developing your pre-launch plan is to actually make a plan. Look ahead, get out a calendar, and plan launches at times of the year that aren’t around personal and family plans. Launching can be overwhelming and frustrating if not properly planned.
    • People need to see or hear you during pre-launch. Make sure you go live on Instagram, put a video on Youtube or record a private podcast episode. Do what works for you and then you can use that content to repurpose into an email and on other platforms.

EP 411 | 5 of my favorite purchases in 2024
To finish out the podcast this year, I wanted to do an episode about some of my most favorite purchases I made for my business tin 2024! This year I really dug into doing what I was doing, better. And because of this focus, I needed to invest in a lot of new tools and ways to outsource to assist with that focus.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Opus Clip AI. This is an AI tool that takes your podcast video and splices them up into 10 or so clips to use on social media. This saves me so much time.
    • Build a Bot workshop with Hattie Dunstan. This workshop helped me see what was possible with AI and I use it for my clients using my template it will create an email pitch sequence.
    • ManyChat. This tool automates conversations on Instagram and can DM links to accounts when they comment a specific keyword on posts.
    • Descript. This can be used for a lot of different things but I use it for the Eye Contact feature. This tool makes it look like you’re looking at the camera, when you're not.
    • Outsourcing SLO funnel Ads. I hired a Facebook Ad expert and it is worth every penny. This might feel like a lot financially upfront, but if you stay focused on the ROI, it is so worth it. I’m so happy to pay this bill because I’m thrilled I don’t have to do it and I know it’s covered by an expert.

    EP 410 | 5 email marketing predictions for 2025
As I was prepping for this episode, I was looking at what trends I saw this past year that were getting my clients results. What were they saying and doing? How many emails were they sending? What was their email structure?

So in this episode, I'm predicting 5 email marketing trends for 2025, based on what I saw in 2024.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Entrepreneurs will start to move off of social media and rely on more sustainable platforms, like email. You might also be getting exhausted with the algorithm and want your content to better convert into sales, which means you will need to focus on your email list and marketing.
    • Inboxes are going to get noisier because you will need to email more. In order to get your offer seen more, you will have to email more. So look at what your email marketing looks like now and how you can increase it sustainably.
    • Conversion rates from email will start to drop. Don’t let this scare you! This just means that people will see right through the bad ChatGPT scripts so you will have to create a very clear message and be very strategic about what’s in your emails.
    • Data will continue to be the driving force with what works and doesn’t work with your specific audience. Different audiences perform differently, so knowing your numbers, like your click rate and open rate, will help you see where you need to shift in your email strategy.
    • Speak more to the different types of buyers that you have in your audience. You need to make sure that you are speaking to those specific types of buyers, so your potential buyers feel seen and heard.

Kimberly is all about finding the balance to live your dream life and be successful at what matters most!

    • Kimberly make short term sacrifices for long-term gain. What she discovered is that there is a time and place for everything. Sometimes you will have to cut certain expenses or temporarily work more, so that later down the line you are able to hire out and work less hours.

EP 406 | Storytelling, social proof, and SEO featuring Brittany Herzberg
Once upon a time, Brittany Herzberg was an introverted massage therapist just trying not to let her clients hear her tummy rumbling. Now? She’s still introverted, but she's perched behind her MacBook increasing visibility and income for 6-figure entrepreneurs using the most misunderstood organic marketing strategy—SEO! Brittany is known for being loud about the benefits of SEO, giggling, & keeping things basic. (Oh, so basic!)

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Social proof is important. Social proof is what people are saying about their experience of working with you. This can be in testimonials, stats, and case studies.
    • Ask yourself these three questions, who do you help, how do you help them, and what do you want to be known for? If you can answer these questions, that's going to help streamline your messaging and you can run all your content through that filter.
    • Utilize SEO. It’s hard to pour out content constantly on social media and for it not to last long or be successful the way we want. People are wanting to learn to optimize their blog posts, podcasts, and websites and they want it to be more long lasting through SEO.

EP 405 | Why Welcome Sequences are dead + what to do instead
I’ve never found the Welcome Sequence in an email funnel effective. I’m not a huge fan because these tend to be all about you as the business owner. I know the intention behind it is to establish you as an expert and deliver value, but I think the way it's presented is fatally flawed.

So how do we get our ideal customers to a point where the pitch for your offer makes sense?

Listen to the episode to hear why I think Welcome Sequences are dead and what to do instead.

    TAKEAWAYS:
    • Help your leads have a mindset shift. Think about how you can come to the pain point for your ideal client from a different perspective. When they think differently about their pain point, they act differently.
    • You can still establish yourself as the expert. The focus of a Welcome Sequence is still useful, we just have to get there differently. So make sure that you are actually trying to help someone and that you are super intentional about what you share and how you share it.
    • Establish the know, like, trust factor. If you’ve strategized your content, and they’ve paid attention, when they get to the Pitch Sequence, it will be an easier transition. They won’t live in decision fatigue because you will have given them more knowledge and power. Your offer won’t come as a surprise and this will help increase your sales.
