Finley boards her Tardis and hops around the pony timeline on this week’s episode of Finley’s My Little Pony Podcast.  Finley decides to delay talking about the 14th episode of the second season and skips straight to “The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000″ for this week’s go around.   Today on the mike, Finley continues to have a soft spot for Equestria’s more questionable element, she becomes with a fuzzy tailed bit player in the show, and compares here uncle to a singing con artist.

Finley welcomes two new little fillies to Ponyville in Episode 42 of the podcast.  In edition to recounting the early adventures of Pound and Pumpkin Cake in the episode “Baby Cakes” of My Little Pony, Finley also discusses her favorite podcast that isn’t Finley’s My Little Pony Podcast, tells us how taking care of kids is like caring for her guinea pig, and imagines the premarital life of Mrs. Cake.

Finley celebrates her 40th episode by venturing into the wilds of Youtube to see what pony-related matter tickles her fancy.  And what she comes up with is a pair of videos that come at pony fandom from two entirely different directions. In this episode, Finley introduces the listeners to a newly created pony by the name of Button Masher and takes everyone deep into mythology of alicorns.  She also takes a principled stand against ever buying a Flurry Heart toy for continuity destroying effect she had on the pony universe.

On Episode 39 of Finley’s My Little Pony Podcast, a significant amount of time is spent huddling in Finley’s Head Cannon Corner.  Finley takes the opportunity to probe the secret origins of the ponies when she reviews the “Hearth’s Warming Eve” and discovers that the ponies are made of people.  THEY ARE MADE OF PEOPLE.

Finley returns to the podcast booth from her frenetic final days of summer to resume her Herculean effort to recount the ongoing stories for the My Little Pony.  This time around, Finley takes on the 10th episode of season 2, “Secret of my Excess.”  Finley continues her streak of being tough grader (for her), expresses a desire for a harsher penal system in Equestria, and is slowly coming around on Twilight Sparkle.

My Little Pony begins to assemble its version of the Justice League as they introduce the Mysterious Mare Do Well, a masked avenger with a talent for bringing the worst among their ponykind to their knees.  Finley asks her brother to join her on this week’s podcast to help her compare and contrast those that wear the cape and cowl.  She also makes a public plea to be included the upcoming publicity for the My Little Pony Movie.

After 33 episodes of Finley’s My Little Pony Podcast, you would think we would have gotten the hang of how to record these things.  But instead, Episode 34 of the Podcast hits a new low in sound quality so apologies all around for the rough sound coming out of your speakers on this one.  We will try to get this right eventually.  Otherwise, Finley has turned out another great episode, introducing her new YouTube channel and revealing that one of the ponies favorite hobbies seems to be crushing the hopes and dreams of those younger than themselves.

The fifth episode of season 2 of My Little Pony, “The Sisterhooves Social”, reached an important milestone for the series.  At least in Finely’s mind, as one of her least liked members of the Mane 6 failed to make an appearance.  Besides the absence of Twilight Sparkle, Finley also covers favorite topics of the podcast - pony ages, the family naming conventions in Equestria, and failures by the show’s writers.
