Listen now to 2000 AD's award-winning official podcast - the 2000 AD Thrill-Cast!
We're gonna need a bigger boat! With the third issue of Battle Action out now, Molch-R talks to writer Steve White and artist John McCrea about their one-shot story featuring the infamous shark from the pages of Action.
Hook Jaw is the murderous great white shark, created by Pat Mills and Geoff Kemp, that debuted in Action in 1976. A 'dead crib' of the movie Jaws but with a hook lodged in its lower jaw, Hook Jaw is the scourge of the seas – a comic strip so violent, with frequent dismemberments and maulings, that it helped bring down the censors on Action.
The latest issue of Battle Action sees White and McCrea join Garth Ennis and Keith Burns in another issue packed with thrilling action! Get it from your local comic shop or check out the details here!

Brian Bolland is one of the all-time greatest 2000 AD artists. Alongside Carlos Ezquerra and Mick McMahon, he is one of the definitive Judge Dredd artists and his work remains evocative and universally acclaimed. As the co-creator of Judge Anderson, Judge Death, and Judge Hershey, he has also had a major influence on the strip's history and his art has adorned everything from skateboards to band T-shirts, from wall posters to prints. The Thrill-Cast chatted with Brian about his long career in comics, from his love of DC superheroes to his work alongside Dave Gibbons on the Nigerian caped crusader Powerman, from his work for 2000 AD to helping lead the 'British Invasion' into American comics in the 1980s.
The Thrill-Cast is increasing its broadcasts during this difficult time, so make sure you're keeping yourselves and your loved ones safe - and stay tuned for more from the Galaxy's Greatest Podcast!

2000 AD welcomed two giants of the comics world to a panel at San Diego Comic Con this year – Sláine and Lobo artist Simon Bisley, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator Kevin Eastman – to discuss one of the most famous comics of all time,. Heavy Metal.
Kevin was Heavy Metal's owner/publisher for more than 20 years and in a candid and wideranging discussion, they talk about working together in the 1990s and the freedoms they and the title enjoyed, but Kevin divulges some fascinating information about the Heavy Metal movie and how it eventually became Netflix's Love, Death & Robots.
Please be aware that audio quality is variable due to the live nature of the panel.
