In Luke 10, he sends out 72 people in pairs to the cities he will be traveling to and to proclaim, "The Kingdom of God has come near." He doesn't ask them to do it alone, but together. Prayer can be full of raw and deep emotions. It can reflect what we are truly feeling towards God because of what we are living through. In Psalm 77, Asaph writes a truly honest prayer, one filled with doubts and holy remembering. We continue to look at prayers in the Bible and what they can teach us about our personal and corporate prayer lives. This week we look at Psalm 51, which is attributed to King David and is his penitent prayer after the Prophet Nathan called him out for his sins in 2 Samuel 12.
