"A lot of people can go on Ancestry.com or DNA or whatever, and they can trace stuff back. As an African American, I can't do that. There's only so far I can go. And one of the ways that I feel more connected is through the practices that my people brought here. And that's where the hoodoo comes in, and that's where the indigenous stuff comes in, and that's where ancestor veneration comes in. So I take what I need to build the spiritual life that makes me a better person, so then I can be a better person to help other people." 22:50

There are many ways to be of service. "I can't tell you how many times I have given a message to someone across the table as I'm doing a reading. I cannot tell you how many times I have ministered to someone over oracle cards. And in a traditional sense, I'd be going to hell right now. But that's where I was of most use. The person sat down for a word. They sat down to be filled at that point and I gave it to them." 23:35

Earlier this year, psychic medium Jeni Juranics released an episode of her Spirit Call podcast where she opened up about what she described as a heartbreaking experience at a mediumship conference, where on more than one occasion she witnessed a fairly well-known physical medium faking seances. On April 10th of this year, Jeni Juranics released an episode of her Spirit Call podcast, where she opened up about what she described as a "heartbreaking experience" at this year's International Physical Mediumship Conference in Albany, NY. Jeni, who has quite a bit of experience sitting in development circles and seances, witnessed a fairly well-known physical medium faking seances, and she decided to call out his fraudulent behavior. If you're wondering if this is the medium who in 2016 was caught faking evidence at the Banyan Retreat Center in the UK, that's the one. :45

Our guest today is Jeni Juranics, who is a psychic medium who resides in Odessa near Kingston, Ontario, Canada with her husband and two children. She's been offering readings since 2016 and maintains a vibrant and genuine link to the Spirit World. Her personality and reading style have been described as down-to-earth and comforting and she brings a sense of calm to all of her sessions. 3:17
