3977 – August 25, 2026 – It’s All About Energy! – We are in a countdown for the November midterm elections. It seems every election year is the MOST vital of all elections – and I believe that is not without just reasoning.

This morning as I was reading through the top headlines, I couldn’t help wondering… how did America ever get to this point? Lawsuits hither and yonder. Threats from the US to others who might be helping Iran AND … A scary threat from Canadian Premier governor, Doug Ford … to cut off power to 1.5 million Americans. Is this the way HE negotiates to even out trade deals between Canada and the U.S.?

No matter the topic – ENERGY always seems to rise to the top of the liter board.

Is the growing national debt $40 Trillion important?

Is stopping an insurrection (a real one) important?

When an organization within any nation (but in particular America) is announcing they plan a take down or take over of our government…. IS THAT IMPORTANT?

Is keeping America SAFE important: less crime – stop terrorism…

3970 – August 14, 2026 – MOTHER MAY I? – REMEMBER “Mother May I?” It was a classic childhood group game where players tried to reach a designated “mother” by asking permission to take specific steps or make funny movements. The first player to reach the mother won the game and became the new mother.

How to Set Up

• Gather three or more players.
• Choose one person to be the “mother”.
• The mother stands 10 to 20 feet away.
• All other players line up in a row facing the mother.

Rules of Play

• Players take turns asking: “Mother, may I take [number] [type of step] forward?”
• Common movement types include giant steps, baby steps, hop steps, or frog leaps.
• The mother replies with either “Yes, you may” or “No, you may not, but instead you may…” (giving a different number or movement).
• If a player moves without asking or forgets to say “Mother, may I?”, they must go back to the start line.
• The first person to touch the mother wins

It occurred to me that President Trump has been forced into a “Mother May I” situation as he tries to govern us as we elected him to.

Mother May I: 

Fire some of the bureaucrats who are underperforming? OR refuse to come to work?

May I discontinue the fraudulent payments being made from USAID?

May I use Tariffs to even out our trade on the worlds stage to make sure America is not on the losing end?

May I have permission to build a much-needed addition to the White House?

3969 – August 13, 2025 – Suffering Suffrage – With all the chatter and gossip and cattiness of the WNBA – I thought maybe it was time to admit, for us to admit, my female friends, THAT maybe We the Women of America need to stand up for the truth … THE TRUTH who we are and what our roll is in America.

I mentioned earlier this week – WHY does the WNBA have a racial problem and the NBA does not? Maybe they should look at the W in the WNBA.

Is it skin color? Perhaps… OR is it that the WNBA is in front of the cameras and behind the doors trying to figure out if they should add men of the trans- “community” into women’s sport.

What would the women, of our Suffrage think about this? Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Alice Paul NOW that “we” can’t define a woman… do we even need the 19th Amendment?

Today, those who raise animals, whether for the pet industry, or for food, or fiber, animal owners across our nation are fighting for their very existence.

Yes – I plagiarized that paragraph from The Cavalry Group’s website. WE also use it in an AD we run to help promote The Cavalry Group, but hear it again: For centuries, Americans who breed, raise, or work with animals have been revered.

Do we Revere our farmers and ranchers? They are the very backbone of our nation… of any nation! You have to be able to feed the people!

3967 – August 11, 2026 – A Few of My Favorite Things – While we were sleeping (to coin a movie title) … While we have been enjoying the American life… going to ballgames, school events, state fairs… having barbeques in our backyard… working and bringing home a paycheck, buying new cars, the latest clothes, getting our haircuts, our manicures…going out to our favorite restaurants… While we were buying new STUFF… and then containers to hold the NEW STUFF… or the OLD stuff…  There were sinister things going on.

In our public schools our children were being taught that all of our favorite things were evil. That the homes they live in… the ball fields they play on… the parks they enjoy… the hospitals we use… all are on stolen land. AND they are only enjoying the “good life” because of their skin color (if they are white) and because their ancestors had slaves over 100 years ago.

When children are young, they are impressionable and they believe what adults tell them, especially schoolteachers.

THEN THEY GO TO COLLEGE! And some highfaluting, pompous professor tells them… there is no God. That America is evil… that their parents are dumb. That America has nothing that is its own. No culture… that is stolen as well as the land… not our music, not our pastime. HECK… our mothers probably stole apple pie too!
