I'm back talking Phillies baseball. The team is in Atlanta, with a big win on Saturday the 27th, by a score of 2-1 over the Braves.

A sold-out Phillies Citizens Bank Park on Mother's Day (a week early cause the Phillies are on the road for the real Moms Day) saw the team snap a nasty 6-game losing streak.

Oh, but we were out of there in 2:14 minutes, barely enough time to settle into the friendly confines and get acclimated to what's going on around you.

That's baseball though in 2023, and it's a shame that it's happening. Baseball has never been on a 'time clock' but now the game feels rushed and no doubt much different than it used to be.
