    S3R62 - NOOBY - African Soul Safari
In the late 70s and early 80s, many of the African countries' best musicians were guided by funk and soul. All over the world, disco music was growing harder and some movements appeared in several countries as South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon or Kenya.. However because of the countries’ pariah status, the vast majority of this music was not heard outside the country, nor ever being released on vinyl abroad. “African Soul Safari” is a short route brought by NOOBY through some of these soul, boogie, afrodisco and funk tunes from Africa, with some artists as: Harari, Hotline, Jake Sollo, Don Laka, Zohra, Al Etto, Mavis Maseko And The Movers, Pasteur Lappe, Steve Monite or Letta Mbulu. Secuencia3Radio, enjoy the African sound!

    S3R61 - PATY PAT - Force One Series 005
Patrick Steger is not new here, but in case you missed it, he was born in Switzerland in 1980. His passion for the music began in the electronic 90s listening to Detroit techno and Chicago style. As a result, these two became the most important influences for his music. Patrick works in the historic Orlando Voorn’s label Nightvision, being an active member of the Minimal Detroit Crew too, but his work doesn’t finish there, he’s an old school dj and a pure vinyl lover. His mixes are the perfect example of the classic techno sessions which have that historical and well-known vinyl sound. As a producer, he’s basically on the same line, with those hypnotic detroit techno rhythms from the 90s and 2000s which can make you dance and don’t let you scape from the dance floor. https://soundcloud.com/paty-pat https://soundcloud.com/pat-c-k-master-from-the-k https://www.facebook.com/Paty-Pat-420768494706783/?fref=ts https://www.mixcloud.com/patbaron3/

    S3R60 - DJ ARG - 22yr Honestly Acid 003
If you say “Dj Arg” you must be talking about acid music. This German producer and DJ knows how it works with more than 20 years of work behind him. As we told you earlier, he began in electronic music through the collection of cassettes and vinyl records of his brother, and since '94, he has been an active artist, not only in several clubs, but also in the studio. His productions and sets are based on fat 303 lines together with legendary Roland drum machines 606, 707, 808 and 909. We couldn’t say no to the opportunity to sign a series of regular collaborations that will make us enjoy this historic sound. “22yr Honestly Acid” is basically the musical testimony of someone who has spent more than two decades of pure love and work in this style. We could say “enjoy it”, but we're sure you will love it! www.facebook.com/secuencia3radio

    S3R57 - SOME RANDOMER - Feelings: EUPHORIA 160
Bruno Galarza is an image and sound technician, addicted to warez, and among many other things, Some Randomer. With this a.k.a. the rest of the description would continue as a ”spam speech”, the word Some and Randomer seem to belittle the identity. He feels more comfortable testing than creating, the experimentation not only defines his mixtapes and productions, but also it takes them to the final consequence. No stereotypes, commonplaces or adherence to the musical genres that are supposed to be inherent to artists of the electronic scene. In the middle of the hardware and physical media consumption in the booth, he uses digital tools because he learnt to mix with software in the 2000s, before democratization and technical advances such as Sync or HotCue. In this episode, he plays at 160 bpms, something not like his last podcast, with sounds on the line of fractalfantasy, bass, footwork, jungle or breaks. S3R56 - Secuencia X Friends – YUKO
We have a special predilection for the Secuencia X Friends series because it is easy to create a dialogue with friends, so they can leave their signature on the platform. That is the reason we are coming back with Y?ko, making this podcast after 3 years from the first conversation. Sergio Bravo is Y?ko, he is coming from Madrid (Spain) and he is an expert playing some records. Influenced by the urban culture of the 90s, its beginnings were marked by the Detroit sound until he got approached by the European British techno scene, which would become the next step in the idm and the electro. On the other hand, he has been dj-based in several London clubs and various monthly events of Fluid and Elements, which have influenced in his role as producer under the a.k.a. 5-HT.Talking to Sergio, he explains to us how he established New North Records with a mobile base between London and Madrid and as he says: “It is mainly focused on electro music". In one of his trips to Spain, he becomes part of the Electromagnética group, a collective you should know because of their quality or due to some of members' podcasts who have been released here. No more waiting, we leave you with this episode, a podcast with some of the sounds between the electro and the idm coming from the United Kingdom and the electronic culture that has been released in the island. S3R55 - SOME RANDOMER - Feelings: Fashionablylate
Bruno Galarza is an image and sound technician, addicted to warez, and among many other things, Some Randomer. With this a.k.a. the rest of the description would continue as a ”spam speech”, the word Some and Randomer seem to belittle the identity. He feels more comfortable testing than creating, the experimentation not only defines his mixtapes and productions, but also it takes them to the final consequence... But in this selective process, he looks for the experience of a dj who prepares his recordcase in a traditional way, with the immediacy offered by the media and digital techniques. For this podcast, he chose a preliminary selection of 500-600 tracks, which were reduced for the selection. A hard work which becomes evident in the cleanest transitions and mixes we have listened to in a long time, most of the time we don't know where the concatenation of the tracks ends, a great value without any dj friendly tracks hacks. We must say this selection is very unusual and varied, not only for the most of listeners, but also for experienced users. Regarding the musical production, the sensitivity which is commented by sounds, is transferred to his works in a not much futuristic but unconventional way. Software and hardware coexist in perfect harmony. But it is not only where this performance fits in the tools he uses, but also in the facility to speak with ownership of the process, being one of the best guys we have met. In the space he shares with the components of T-37, the D.I.Y., free software, the desire to share and the collective creations are not personal or aesthetic options but a premeditated way of giving back to the "industry". These are some of the main reasons Some Randomer had to create a trilogy podcast to take us to these musical places, where it would be impossible for us to know and enjoy. In this first episode, he shows us a nice stage where you can enjoy sounds in the orbit of the 80s ambient synth, new wave, pc music, vapor wave, modern and abstract electronic sounds, without being an experienced user. Thank you very much for your work and knowledge. We will greatly enjoy this work. S3R54 - Secuencia X Friends - REDWAN
Here we are again, after the last Christmas and a well-deserved rest, we return with the fifth season. After this winter break, we thought it was the best to invite close friend to play some records and tell us the story behind them and so it was. Redwan who has been a resident in Madrid since 2011, has worked closely with several media as Geometrika FM, Abysmal, Forward, XXXO, Turntables, Electromagnetic Radio and Clubbingspain. He is currently a member of Trauma, the collective which has brought to Madrid some of the best talents of the most risky techno. You should have read about Trauma before, if not, here you have some artists who have been involved in their events: SHXCXCHCXSH, Cassegrain, Kareem, Stanislav Tolkachev, Talker, Zosima, Codex Empire, Blush Response, SSTROM, Lofthaus, Oake, Domenico Crisci, SØS Gunver Ryberg , Delusions, No Parfum or Sam KDC. As for Redwan, his influences come from Detroit (UR) to Berlin (Basic Channel, Tresor), through Birmingham, but always with the spotlight on the new mutations that techno offers. A really nice technique in the mix that in his own words, "the only premise has been to select some techno at a very low BPM, showing how it can be so mental and deep, and making body and mind dance together." There is no doubt about this. A wise move that Redwan has opened this new season. Welcome and thank so much. S3R53 - Secuencia X Friends - OUSSAMA K
www.facebook.com/secuencia3radio We are back with one of the most followed series at this home, Secuencia X Friends, and this time we join forces with a friend: Oussama K. Oussama is a very talented guy from the electronic scene of Lyon (France) with several productions and a sophisticated dj set we are really proud to drop here. We talked to him and we had a very nice conversation, here you have an extract: "I have many influences when it takes to music. I won’t quote any artist in particular, there are too many… I like chords and free construction from the jazz; the dreamy and opened sounds from ambient rawness and metallic sounds from the electronic stuff, and of course, the groove and simplicity from house music. In every project I work on, I try to expose all these aspects with my ideas and go further with it. But of course, all these are preferences, not rules. I don’t like to put myself in borders and pray to be labeled as a «House producer». I really do like FM synthesis and digital synths. The hardest thing for me nowadays is to find a workflow that really stimulate us everyday, without pushing you in every opposable direction. As DAWs do. Early electronic artists were limited by their gear and that what gave them their sounds. Now that you have every sound possible, it takes twice more efforts to your brain to find your path through the infinite possibilities and someway it’s an interesting challenge. I’ve no idea why some people are leading a crusade for the «old analog stuff» and ruin themselves or their parents to make stupid stuff that sounds like a car wash, convinced that it’s the «real sound». Live with your time and follow your tastes". In this podcast you can listen an awesome selection of old school vibes mixed with an exquisite style. You know, that kind of mix that is always on your phone with five stars. As his own words: "I tried to compile some of late 90's - 2000's electronic stuff. Abstract journey through groove, for clubs proposal. Fading slowly with harmony and then getting groovy!." We have to thank Oussama for this perfect work. It's really nice to see a young talent doing this kind of stuff. https://soundcloud.com/oussamak

    S3R52 - PROFONDA ROSSA - Europa: Troika
www.facebook.com/secuencia3radio We have a new trilogy which promise to teach some culture, sophistication and good taste. We introduce "Europe”, a range dedicated to dance music from the 70s and 80s in the old continent. This interesting project is signed by Profonda Rossa a.k.a. Marta Liébana, who thanks the collaboration in advance and we thank her for giving us this compilation full of genius and rarities masterpieces. Marta is an experienced dj from Madrid who starts her new career as Profonda Rossa, but you have probably enjoyed before as Miss Lieb. She defines herself as: ”above all, a compulsive seeker of music always trying to find the rarities. After that, I try to mix it just for fun.” This first episode is titled "Troika" and is a tour of musical styles that have been exclusively designed and created for the cinematographic format. Under a formula of musical selection rather than a set, the short length of some tracks makes difficult or impossible to mix it, and they are masterpieces that deserve to be listened to without overlaps, from the beginning to the end, appreciating each of the tones of the composition. She says: "on one hand we approach to the musical genre Library, a style quite unknown, within this style you can find funk , jazz or Bossa. Almost all the records of this kind were compilations of several artists who created and sold their compositions to the companies, these were the ones who were in charge of hiring the musicians to record and publish it, keeping the copyright. On the other hand there are some tracks from soundtracks which were much better than the film. Some dramatic OST pieces have been selected for this podcast, as in a good movie can pass from sonorous form of joy to sensuality, lyrical episodes, intrigue and tragic touches. We can listen to synthesizers inside these works that provide a fun touch but do not prevent a high dose of elegance. I wanted to make this first podcast with the desire that music will be the main actor " Take your notebook and enjoy this podcast, it is a must-listen one!. Thanks again to Marta for this superb job.
