I've been meaning to put together a mix of some of my favorite J Dilla tracks for years and as part of Black History Month 2025 this felt like the right time to take on the challenge! Suffice to say he was truly a musical genius who was light years ahead of his time. 
If you haven't read the amazing Dilla Time book by Dan Charnas I highly recommend doing so. I hope this mix is a nice soundtrack to anyone currently reading it. I could've played for many hours but I just went with the flow and ended up with 2.5 hours of some of my personal favorites of his. All mixed live in one take.

My regular Eurotrash Night has been extremely silly & fun. Nothing but guilty pleasures and ridiculous Eurodance music videos.

It's been a while since I've uploaded a Christmas mix but this was such a fun night so I wanted to share the Holiday cheer with everyone. I covered a lot of musical bases and made sure to include some fun gospel disco as well to round out the festive vibes.

I got asked to be the opening dj for Kamala Harris' big rally in Madison, Wisconsin. My first ever rally like this! Nothing was planned out and I just went with the vibe of the crowd. It took a while for everyone to clear security but once they did it hit capacity of 10,231. Suffice to say it was a surreal and fun experience. Lots of good vibes in the air!
This was my set from when the doors opened until the first speeches began and then the two short sets between all the speakers and before Kamala Harris took the stage.

It's always a treat to play once a month at the beautiful Lola's Hi/Lo Lounge in Madison, WI for their Motown Monday night. I love getting to dive deep into my Motown/Northern Soul crates and craft a tasty vibe for everyone to enjoy.
I felt particularly in the groove this month so I felt I'd share my 3 hour live mix.

I had the pleasure to dive deep into my personal favorite African Disco + Boogie tracks at the magical Lola's Hi/Lo Lounge in Madison, WI on a beautiful summer night. 
It's not a flawless mix but it's a fun one & it's 100% live!

To call Tom Moulton a living legend would be an understatement. He invented the 12" single, produced/mixed hundreds of legendary songs, and was the first person to make a dj mixtape (in the late 60's!). Suffice to say this 3 hour live mix merely scratches the surface of his genius. 
It was a pleasure to do this live mix in the magical environment of Leopold's Books Bar Caffè.

I had a wonderful time preparing for this unique gig honoring the late legendary Japanese artist, Ryuichi Sakamoto. I went through his vast catalogue picked out my favorites to share & attempt to make a coherent mix out of.
The end result was this live mix I whipped together on a fun Thursday night at one of my favorite places to dj in Madison, Leopold's Books Bar Caffè.
