Some people think that it's Neolithic, some people think that it's Iron Age, Roman, the Druids claim him for their own as well," he told Secret Sussex. Neal said the figure was originally thought by some to be "an indentation in the side of the hill".This tallies up with Rowley's drawing which suggests the original figure was a shadow or indentation, rather than a solid line.Until the 19th Century when it was marked out in yellow bricks, the Long Man was only visible in certain light conditions.

When asked why the Long Man is in this specific location, Neal says the true answer is unknown but the area does have "a strong relationship to the constellation of Orion".This enduring mystery feeds into the "spiritual undertones" which Neal says he feels characterises the entire area.Whether it was intended as a territorial marker, a religious symbol, a piece of early landscape art, or something else entirely is still unknown, and may never be.

“A compelling call for further research into the potential of ibogaine therapy.”—Kirkus Reviews
• Explores how ibogaine works, including how it boosts cellular function,
increases neuroplasticity, and interrupts habitual behavior patterns and trauma
• Discusses the ritual roots of iboga in the Bwiti spiritual tradition of Gabon
• Shares case studies showing ibogaine’s healing effects for addiction recovery, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Parkinson’s
Ibogaine is an alkaloid derived from the iboga plant, native to Central Africa. Its healing effects are revered within the Bwiti spiritual tradition of Gabon. International ibogaine expert Jonathan Dickinson explores how this psychedelic substance is now emerging as one of the most promising tools in neuro-regenerative medicine, addiction recovery, and treating trauma.
Grounded in fieldwork and more than 15 years of clinical observation, Dickinson shows how ibogaine interacts with the body and mind, inducing a “bicameral state” of consciousness. This is a liminal mode of being in which ancient voices, archetypes, and internal guidance systems emerge, often catalyzing a profound reorganization of memory, identity, and behavior.
He details how ibogaine boosts cellular function and shares impressive case studies to demonstrate how ibogaine has successfully treated PTSD, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s, neuropathic pain, and multiple sclerosis.
As a clinician scientist, Dickinson has helped a multitude of veterans with their post-traumatic mental health struggles. As a Bwiti initiate, he is able to present in this book a unique understanding and new framework for engaging with this transformational psychedelic medicine.
Jonathan Dickinson is the CEO and cofounder of Ambio Life Sciences, the world leader in integrative ibogaine treatments, and is also the founder of Terragnosis. He has more than 15 years of experience in clinical care, traditional practice, and psychedelic research. He was initiated into a Dissoumba/Fang branch of Bwiti in 2014 and the Missoko tradition in 2022. He lives in Toronto, Canada.

Katie Norris was is originally from the suburbs of Maryland where her pastimes included climbing trees, singing and dancing, and asking a lot of questions. In school she enjoyed attending her classes, but she also had an insatiable passion for learning new skills beyond what was required. At an early age, she began creating a habit of self-study on different topics of interest. At eight years old, Katie taught herself to play the piano and began writing songs. She continued in music and theater all through high school and college, all while maintaining honors in her other academic subjects. When she wasn’t playing music or acting on stage, Katie was reading a book or visiting her friends in the science department, always curious about their new projects. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Theater and Music from Frostburg State University, Maryland, and then moved to New York City to start her career in the theater world. Katie continued with her self-study practices between auditions and performance gigs, and learned a handful of random other skills, one of which was teaching herself Japanese, initially on a dare. After a few years in the NYC, Katie moved to Los Angeles where she continues her career in the entertainment industry. And her pursuits of science and self-study on all the topics that interest her have not slowed down. After locating to L.A., Katie dove more deeply into the world of physics and quantum physics. And for a time, she even held a position teaching after-school programs on physics and robotics for elementary and middle school kids. Her passion for knowledge on quantum physics has been ever-growing and evolving.

• Explains the healing and transformational power of intoning the Divine Name
• Teaches how to correctly intone the Divine Name through exercises and audio downloads for maximum vibrational effect
• Reveals how the sacred sound of the Divine Name can be used to promote human and planetary healing
In this book, sound healing expert Jonathan Goldman reveals the secrets of ascension harmonics and how we can learn to experience the sacred resonance of the Divine Name to reconnect to the source of all that is.
First prohibited from being spoken and then lost for nearly 2,500 years, the Divine Name of God, when vocalized, has the ability to raise consciousness, invoke spiritual transformation, heal the body, and balance and activate the subtle energy field.
Goldman shares his rediscovery of the Divine Name—the Biblical Tetragrammaton—as being a harmonically related universal sequence of vowels that is nondenominational and can be experienced by everyone. He gives a step-by-step process for effectively intoning the Divine Name with intention and prayer and offers links to 60 minutes of audio downloads that will teach you how to properly sound the Divine Name through chakra and biofield resonance.
Goldman also presents the latest research on the effects of this sacred sound on DNA and water and introduces readers to the Angel of Sacred Sound. He reveals how to integrate biofield resonance with universal spiritual teachings to access the ascension harmonics of the Divine Name and bring humankind to the next level of evolution.

What started as a study of how Greek, Egyptian, and Gothic builders solved the problem of optimal interaction with the environment became a fifty-year obsession, and a parallel career as a homeschool tutor in mathematics, geometry, and geology gave him direct insight into education outside what he calls the industrial indoctrination model. The course he is launching covers practical applications most people never connect to geometry: a dodecahedron's internal angles total 6,480 degrees, exactly one quarter of the roughly 26,000-year precessional cycle of the Earth's axis, a numerical correlation between spatial and temporal patterns that Randall argues was understood by ancient cultures and is foundational to his curriculum.

“An appealing manual that offers encouraging methods for pursuing a happier and more connected life.”—Kirkus Reviews
• Defines the meaning of “namaste” and explains how to apply it in daily interactions to build stronger communities
• Offers practical strategies to develop self-awareness and compassion, foster deeper connections with others, and support mutual growth
• Includes exercises, mindfulness meditations, and svadhyaya (“self-study”) practices to deepen personal growth and understanding
Namaste is a Sanskrit greeting that means “I bow to the divine in you.” It has become a common phrase to say at the end of yoga classes, but as Jeremy Engels shows, “namaste” is more than a polite expression; it is a powerful principle for building connection and community.
Engels organizes the practice of living namaste around three reminders—“I am divine,” “you are divine,” and “live the word, together”—noting that the significance of mindfulness and yoga practice is about remembering to return to a state of awareness, presence, and connection.
The practical approach Engels offers in Living Namaste encourages self-awareness and empathy, cultivating gratitude, and treating one another with compassion to foster deeper connections and support mutual growth. Each of the three reminders is accompanied by exercises, mindfulness meditations, and svadhyaya (“self-study”) practices designed to help you apply these teachings to your daily life. By responding thoughtfully and with care to each other, rather than reactively, readers can form stronger, more supportive relationships, support each other’s well-being, and contribute to healthier communities.
Jeremy David Engels, PhD, is a cofounder and teacher at Yoga Lab, which offers science-based yoga and meditation classes that emphasize mindfulness and functional movement. He is a Liberal Arts Endowed Professor of Communication and Ethics at Penn State University and has written extensively on community-building, peace, and justice. He lives in State College, Pennsylvania.

What lies beneath some of the world's most mysterious ancient sites?Dr. Jan Francke has spent more than three decades working with ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and developing technologies capable of imaging structures, geological formations, tunnels, voids, and other features hidden beneath the Earth's surface. In this episode of Earth Ancients, Jan joins Cliff Dunning to discuss the science behind GPR and its growing role in archaeology. The conversation explores radar investigations at ancient sites, including work around the Giza Plateau and Great Pyramid, as well as projects in Mexico, the Middle East, Australia, and other parts of the world.
Jan also explains an important problem surrounding ground-penetrating radar: while GPR can produce remarkable results under the right conditions, the technology can easily be misunderstood, misused, or overinterpreted. What can radar actually see underground? How deep can it penetrate? What creates an anomaly? And when does an intriguing radar image become credible evidence for a buried structure?Jan Francke is the founder of Groundradar, which develops and deploys specialized GPR systems, including long-range UltraGPR technology. He is also associated with Geolitix, a cloud-based platform for processing and interpreting GPR and other geophysical data. His career has taken him to more than 100 countries, applying geophysical technology to archaeology, geology, mineral exploration, underground void detection, and other subsurface investigations. This conversation offers a rare look at the technology increasingly being used to investigate what may remain hidden beneath some of the world's most important ancient landscapes.Learn more about Jan Francke and Groundradar:

Thousands of years older than the Babylonian and Egyptian zodiacs, perhaps even older than Gobekli Tepe, the features on the ground in North Wales actually determined the choice of stars for the constellations in the heavens above.
In rediscovering the origin of the modern constellations, so too has been rediscovered the 'cipher' connecting the history of the world we know and understand, to the pre-history world of myth and mystery.
If true, the Star Maps of Gwynedd may change everything we believe about our recent history.
Hundreds of hours of painstaking research, hieroglyph interpretation and language translation identify all the features of the present zodiac and circumpolar constellations across the land features of Gwynedd. This information is presented in maps of the ground and star maps correlated with the same in the night sky above. The myth is explained and retranslated, as are the landmarks and the corresponding astrological icons associated with each of the signs of the zodiac.
Prepare for a journey across the heavens and back in time, crossing into the world that existed before the Great Flood.
Hugh Evans studied Astrophysics at university, graduated in aeronautical engineering, subsequently qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. He now applies his scientific interest, engineering rigor and professional scrutiny to a lifelong passion for history and the stars; offering a new perspective and rediscovering the story of the ancients. Hugh has invested thousands of hours of painstaking research, site visits, hieroglyph interpretation and language translation to identify all the features of the present zodiac and circumpolar constellations across the land features of Gwynedd, North Wales. Thousands of years older than the Babylonian and Egyptian zodiacs, perhaps even older than Göbekli Tepe, the features on the ground in North Wales actually determined the choice of stars for the constellations in the heavens above.
