Kicking things off is the deep "Piano Mix" of "I Am Here".  A filtered synth pad sweeps and swirls behind a big kik drum, pulsating off beat keys unite with a punchy bass line and heavy piano chords, all accompanying delayed and harmonic vocals by  the talented Marvin Belton. The "Synth Mix" makes for a fun dance-floor pleaser incorporating Belton's colorful vocals with a groovy bass line, poly-rhythmic percussion, sweeping synth pads, and a hauntingly beautiful synthetic choir.

Scott Ferguson's mix of "Groove" is dubby and organic, spinning organ keys and a deep filtered saw pad swirl behind a low and heavy bass drum, groovy bass line, crispy 909 hats, and reggae style guitar. Catchy keys move along with the spattering congas and guitar leading into a break that introduces the horn section. "That's a groove baby"... Secondly a remix by label-mate and the "Master of Darkness", Silvio Manuel. Silvio slows down the BPM, spaces out the keys, and replaces the funky guitar with an even funkier Clavinet. Supper deep, dark, and dubby this is a slow-burner for late-night Detroit basement "after parties"....

In southern Michigan completely surrounded by The City of Detroit lies a small community named Highland Park. It was within these borders that Scott Ferguson built his first studio on Ferris Street. Renting two rooms in an old grand house, he used one room as a bedroom and the other for a recording studio. During this time Ferrispark Records came to be known to the underground dance world. Tracks like 'Dump Days' and 'Bleed to be Free' were created and history was being made. Ferris Street is an album compiled of previously unreleased tracks produced by Scott Ferguson during this era. The tracks on this album have the same soulful rawness as his early record releases, catching so many people's attention.

After the international success of Scott Ferguson's numerous 12" record releases on his own Ferrispark imprint and many others, (Gigolo, Deep Vibes, Third Ear, Deep Explorer, etc...) Ferguson presents his first full-length album entitled "Save Our Sons and Daughters." The album combines diverse musical styles and influences reflecting an eclectic taste in rhythms and sound. "Save Our Sons and Daughters" is a soulful, meaningful, and intriguing look into the future of electronic music.
