Quetzalcóatl was a real god, that followed some people to another planet... to have someone fake being him so that Fake Quetzalcóatl could name himself Superman... so that many generations later... In a Superman trains Superboy to be Superman to train Superboy to be Superman chain of events.... the REAL Quetzalcóatl could step in and help Superboy overthrow a very Game of Thrones (but in a South American way) Superman.... There is a reason this book is a one off.
