The riots broke out after an asylum seeker from Sudan was charged with attempted murder. Murray discusses the rise of the Irish far right, the historical context of British colonial racism and the impact on Irish society. Murray’s latest documentary is Journacide: The War on Truth, documenting Israeli killings of journalists in Lebanon.
