Today’s guest is Filipino and Murrawarri musician DOBBY! Dobby started making waves as a self proclaimed ‘drapper’ as he incorporates his incredible drumming skills into multiple projects and his live performances. His debut album, “Warrangu: River Story”, was a record about the Murray Darling Basin and the degradation humanity has caused it over the years. That album was of course our album of the week back in 2024. His most recent album, Marshmallow, is another hefty concept album, this time taking on a journey back in time through is younger years.

Today’s guest is one i’ve been trying to get on the show for almost a year, seriously, our conversation starts back in November. A DJ and producer who really questions the idea of “genre” by fluently floating between every different form of electronic music you can think of, from IDM, bass, pop, glitch, noise, hip-hop and putting them all on the same record or mix. Today’s guest is T Breezy, a Gamilaraay rapper from Inverell NSW. Coming onto the scene with his debut EP ‘2360’, which won album of the week honours here at fbi radio, T Breezy brought a harder, southern hip hop influenced style of trap which quickly set him apart from the rest of Australian hip-hop. A mainstay in the underground, his 2024 collaborative album ‘Souths Most Wanted’ with Walkerboy, showed us that 2360 was just a taste of what’s to come. He recently put out his 2nd EP, Traction, further refining that singular sound and putting his ambition on full display.
