Nats Nightly... Weekly: Nationals sweep Pirates, back to .500 at 16-16
It's been an interesting week in the nation's capital with Bryce Harper leading off for the Washington Nationals, Wilmer Difo getting on base at an impressive pace, and the Nats sweeping the Pirates in a four-game set in Nationals Park. Good starting, runs galore and more. Is this turning into Davey Martinez's team? Will the Nats get their injured players back... just in time to ruin the chemistry they've developed? Kidding about that part. We miss Daniel Murphy's swing. We'll talk about it all at 6:00 PM EDT Nats Nightly... Weekly.

Nats Nightly: Nationals shut out by Alex Meyer and the Angels, 7-0
Mike Rizzo and Kris Kline always said Alex Meyer had potential, and the Washington Nationals’ 2011 1st Round pick showed his former organization what he had in a 7-0 win for the Los Angeles Angels tonight in Anaheim. Gio Gonzalez struggled with his command early, and gave up a big home run late, giving up four of the seven runs the Nats surrendered as the Nationals' six-game winning streak came to an end with just the second shutout loss of the season for the NL East division leaders.
