Many married couples believe they serve their spouse, but sometimes serving becomes scorekeeping: "I did this for you, so what will you do for me?" Jesus gives us a different example in Mark 10:45. He came not to be served, but to serve. Servanthood in marriage means developing a willing heart that asks, even when it costs you something, "How can I serve you today?" Jesus taught that marriage requires maturity and that not everyone is mature enough for married life. One sign of maturity is being prepared to have and nurture children. When God created marriage, He commanded Adam and his wife to be fruitful and multiply. Thus, one of the main goals of godly marriage is to have children. Although some marriages do not produce children, if you are considering marriage, you need to be prepared for the possibility of having children and ready to raise them in the admonition of the Lord.

Jesus gives us a powerful example of how to approach marketing with intentionality and persistence. He went throughout Galilee preaching, teaching, and healing, consistently taking His message to the people He was called to serve. As entrepreneurs, we should have that same commitment to reaching the people we are called to serve. Are you consistently sharing your message wherever your target audience is, or are you marketing halfheartedly and expecting God to make up the difference? If God has called you to business, part of your responsibility is to persistently market, create content, and share your message with the people you are called to reach.

Jesus taught us three keys to receiving answers to our prayers. First, we need to **ask**, which means we need to be specific about what we are requesting from God. Second, we need to **seek**, which means we need to actively look for the answers. God is not going to simply drop the answer from heaven. The answers are here on earth, so we have to look for them with the help of the Holy Spirit. Third, we have to **knock**. Jesus said that when we knock, the door will be opened. This means we must be persistent, continuing to ask, seek, and knock until we receive the answer to our prayers.

Godly parenting requires loving, intentional discipline that reflects God's own pattern of praise, correction, instruction, consequences, and continued care. Parents are called to establish clear boundaries, allow children to make choices and experience appropriate consequences, and guide them through those consequences without harshness or discouragement. This training should begin early and be rooted in a wholehearted commitment to God, with Scripture continually used to teach truth, expose wrong, correct behavior, and instruct children in righteous living. The ultimate purpose is not merely good behavior or religious appearance, but a heart genuinely devoted to God—equipping children to follow His will throughout their lives and eventually pass that same faith and godly training to future generations.

Prayer is making a request of God for something you want. However, many believers are fearful of asking God for what they really, really want. A lot of the time, they speak in generalities. They'll say something like, "God, bless me," but what they really want is for God to bless them with a certain kind of job or career. Jesus teaches that we have to be precise about what we want from God and not be ashamed to ask Him for what we truly desire. When we ask God for what we want and believe, we shall receive it. So, let us normalize being bold and not shrink back from asking God for what we really, really want for the sake of appearing humble.

Jesus told us that when you're praying, if you have anything against someone, you need to forgive them first. He said, "If you don't forgive others, God won't forgive you."

Prayer is asking God to do something on your behalf. When you're in business, you need God to move in your business. You need God to bring clients, customers, strategy, and revenue. But when you're asking God for these things while holding unforgiveness in your heart toward your husband or wife, the Bible says your prayers are blocked.

So, if you're struggling in your business, check your forgiveness walk with your spouse. Unforgiveness toward your spouse is sinful, and it's not something you should tolerate.

Whatever is causing you to hold unforgiveness toward your spouse, you need to forgive if you want to be successful in what God has called you to do.

We hear a lot of people telling us that we need to pray every day, but why do we actually need to pray every day? Well, prayer is a request of God, and Jesus taught us that in order to get our prayers answered, we have to be persistent in our prayers. This means that we need to keep praying for the same thing until we actually see the results.

When you lose something, you have to seek it in order to find it. In the same way, when you ask God for an answer or solution to your situation, you have to actively look for the solution He has for you. Seeking is not a lack of faith; it is part of the faith process. Faith is not simply waiting for God to place the answer in your lap. Faith requires you to get up and seek the solution God has for you.

A person's demeanor is their outward behavior, attitude, or manner. A godly marriage requires both husbands and wives to have a calm demeanor. Spouses are commanded to treat their spouse gently and avoid being harsh or quarrelsome. Marriage will inevitably bring disagreements and difficult moments, but spiritual maturity is demonstrated by how we respond to them. To live out marriage God's way, both spouses must learn to control their emotions and maintain a peaceful demeanor even when conflict arises.
