Bedford & Sullivan Brooklyn: Farewell Blogtalkradio, Hello Buzzsprout, w Robert Barnes

After almost 12 years, Bedford & Sullivan Brooklyn's Blogtalkradio run comes to an end. All starting with a desire to keep the audience active listeners in the Brooklyn Dodgers TV series research process, the guests we've had have been beyond my imagination, including Brooklyn historian Ron Schweiger, Dodgers pitcher Carl Erskine and Brooklynite/Dodgers fan Larry King.

One of the ever-recurring guests has been Dodgers superfan Robert Barnes (who appears in the Larry King episode linked above.) He joins me on what was supposed to be the last blogtalkradio show to discuss the podcast itself, talking with Larry King on the last episode we ever did with him, the Dodgers 2024 World Series run, the late Carl Erskine, our Brooklyn buddy Mike Lecolant, plus much more.

So, join us for what was supposed to be the final blogtalkradio episode of the Bedford & Sullivan podcast, but instead is the first Buzzsprout one. It's been a wild ride.

Ep. 163 - Fort Hamilton Native & NYC Theater Artist Stephan Morrow
This week on the Bedford & Sullivan podcast, we welcome Fort Hamilton native and NYC theater artist Stephan Morrow.Ironically meeting him serendiptiously at a cafè at the base of the Hollywood sign in LA, Stephan moved to Shore Road and 96th St in Brooklyn at age 5, going to school with Duke Snider's kids. After his parents split up when he was 8th grade, Brooklyn slowly faded from his life after getting into Stuyvesant High School, but left an indellible impact on the rest of it. He was drawn to the trenches of the working artists of NYC and eventually found his way to the off-off broadway scene, both as an actor and a playwright. We'll discuss his early years in Brooklyn as well as his artistic endeavors. So, listen in to the latest edition of the Bedford & Sullivan podcast!LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE ON APPLE PODCASTS https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/bedford-sullivan-brooklyn/id672566969LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE ON SPOTIFY PODCASTS https://open.spotify.com/show/0f58Kzu1gbGYFQr9ksBpYO?si=e0816ed3ff924b41LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE ON STITCHER https://www.stitcher.com/show/bedford-sullivan-brooklyn
