The only thing that matters is the music, and I try to play the music that people are afraid to look for. I never wanted to be just a DJ because a DJ has certain expectations set upon him/her. A DJ is expected to be an expert “know it all”, even when they probably aren’t. There’s simply too much music in the world for a single person to have embraced all of it. So most DJs are clever liars. That’s not meant to be disrespectful, but rather an admission on my part that I’m not going to lie to you. I don’t know it all; but what I know, I share with you.
