Ps Jeff & Ps Rowena Lloyd have a vision to see people live life to their fullest potential, by coming to know who Jesus is and learning how to include him in their world. By making these messages available FREE online is one way we can connect with you, even if you cant make it on sunday.
What does it mean to be part of a truly vibrant community? This Sunday, we looked at Acts 2 and the birth of the early church. This was the moment when the Holy Spirit was poured out, transforming ordinary people into bold witnesses for Jesus. We saw how this new community was marked by devotion, generosity, prayer, worship, and radical love.
As we reflect on our own church, we celebrate the ways we gather, serve, and grow together. From worship to kids’ ministry, from midweek Life Groups to our community outreach, we are part of something bigger. We are a living, breathing community centered on Jesus.
If you’re feeling disconnected or searching for hope, this message is for you. You belong here. Step in, lean in, and be part of a community where faith comes alive.

In a world where digital connection is easier than ever, do we still need face-to-face relationships? With the rise of AI companions and virtual interactions, it’s tempting to believe that screens can replace human presence. But from the very beginning, God designed us for something deeper.
In this message, part of our 'A Vibrant Community' series, we explore why physical presence matters - why Jesus Himself became flesh and lived among us (John 1:14), why Paul longed to visit and encourage the churches in person (Romans 1:11-12), and why John desired face-to-face connection so that joy could be complete (2 John 1:12).
Join us as we uncover four powerful reasons why meeting together isn’t just important, it’s essential for our spiritual growth and joy. Let’s move beyond pixels and step into the fullness of life-giving community.

We were made for connection - designed in the image of a God who exists in perfect unity and love as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In this message, part of our 'A Vibrant Community' series, Pastor Jeff unpacks the profound truth that our longing to belong is a reflection of the divine community that created us.
From the beginning, God’s intention was for us to experience unity and belonging - first with Him and then with each other. Drawing from John 1:1-5, Genesis 1:1-3, and John 17:22-23, this message explores how our desire for community is rooted in God’s nature and how we, as His Church, are called to embody this unity in our everyday lives.
If you’ve ever felt the ache of loneliness or the deep satisfaction of true connection, this message is for you. Discover how to move beyond isolation and into the vibrant, life-giving community that God intends.

In this message, first preached in C3 Bathurst on 9 February, guest Pastor Nick Hind continues our series: SHIFT 2025. This series is a bold call to step into the culture of change that God is stirring for the year ahead.
We were reminded that while the world values independence, our faith calls us to rely fully on Christ. When we choose dependence on Him, we step into a deeper relationship, true freedom, and the abundant life He promises. We were encouraged to surrender, worship wholeheartedly, and boldly live out the Gospel.
In this message, first preached in C3 Bathurst on 2 February 2025, Pastor Jeff speaks through the refreshed vision for our church community under the new name of Laneway Church.
We believe Laneway Church will be a church where people are changed by the life of Jesus through Biblical wisdom, a vibrant community, the Holy Spirit’s presence and blessing beyond.

In this message, first preached in C3 Bathurst on 17 November 2024, Col continues our series: Temple 2.0: Return, Rebuild, Renew. Told through the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi, we will follow the people of Israel as they return to Jerusalem and begin to rebuild not only the temple but their identity as God’s people.
This week we compared the message of Haggai and Zechariah to God's people after they stopped rebuilding the temple. We then compared Solomon's temple and Zerubbabel's temple to God's ultimate plan for His temple - to dwell amongst His people.
