It is the opening weekend to bring out those firearms and Steve Carney gives us the update on where the deer are being found out there, how this weather is affecting his bow hunt and much more as we go outdoors with him!

Josh Wheeler steps in to bring us the Top 25 and Big Ten scores including a couple huge Big Ten upsets and an incredible showing from Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss - that and a look at the regional college football action with Steve Thomson. We also get a game update from Southwest Minnesota State’s Kelly Loft, Jeff Papas gives us an update from the action between UMD and Winona, Jim Cella checks in from Moorhead to recap the Augsburg action against the Cobbers, we also check in with Austin Lagesse with a Bethel update and Kevin Reid provides an update on the Bemidji State game. Ryan Klinkner gives us an update from Saint Johns as well!

Fresh off a huge win back at home against the Lightning, the Minnesota Wild are 7-1-2 and are one of the hottest teams in the NHL and one of the big reasons is the red-hot Kirill Kaprisov who for many including Jess Myers of the Pioneer Press is in the conversation currently as the best player in the NHL.

Finally, the weather is changing and we talked to Steve Carney about the cool down, the deer hunting rut underway, the rain coming in benefitting his bow hunting and the wait for duck hunting season!

First game did not go as they had hoped but the second game ended with a win - the Minnesota Timberwolves are 1-1 and they now await tonight’s home opener. Chris Hine of the Star Tribune joins to preview that and we analyze some of the new pieces to the team.
