Audio Theatre Central is a podcast that explores family-friendly audio drama. We will follow the new releases from series such as Lamplighter Theatre, Adventures in Odyssey, Focus on the Family Radio Theatre, Heirloom Audio, Jonathan Park, and more. But will also introduce and discuss other productions that we feel would be of interest to our listeners. We also feature exclusive interviews with cast and crew members of the top radio drama productions.

    Review of Adventures in Odyssey #74: Buckle Up!
    Today, JD is joined by ATC contributor Austin Peachey to review album 74 of Adventures in Odyssey, titled Buckle Up! They go deep into the characters, plots, performances, and production values of these six episodes. Also in the episode, JD shares a handful of audio drama updates, including the first trailer for the next Sargent Family Productions project. They talk about some of the behind the scenes of the broadcast, its impact on broadcast history, and some of the other work from its director, Orson Welles. And since Matthew released his latest production titled Operator today, they talk about its connection to the Orson Welles broadcast, what inspired him to write the script, working with remote actors for the first time, and more.
