    Think Before You Act

This commentary was written by a member who experienced what it was like to be arrested and placed in jail at the expense of making a bad decision.

Think Before You Act Commentary Project – by Aleah

Only a few people will ever match up your feelings you had when you was on your way to jail. Only a few people will ever feel the loneliness and corrupt feeling you had in your stomach walking in them doors. My name is Aleah Marie Brighteyes Mitchell and yes I am one of those people my first time I got locked up was for a 707b I was with my brothers at the wrong place at the wrong time. Days in there went slow, hectic, annoying, and hot I felt like I was trapped in a box and my people forgot about me. I got out of summer of May 31,2011 and knew I had to change I learned that misery loves company and the only person you got in this world is your yourself. I was raised around guys so I had the mentality of one all I cared about was how I was gonna get my next bill. Back then was a challenge a struggle that I felt like I was never gonna get out of. But god works in mysterious ways. I came out a brand new person and was much more focused on myself. I got a job at Taco Bell the first three months I was out and If I can do it you can do it to.

    Classic Cars

This commentary was written and produced by a teen who enjoys classic and old school cars.

Classic cars are more interesting than The Ones They Have Now Cause They All Are Hurt Looking And You Can’t Really do Anything Too Make Them look better in my eyes old school cars are more legit and look way better to drive cause now they’re making cars just to make not even caring how they look or how long they’ll last while you’re driving it and there also getting more complicated to fix

Plus its more unique because you can show your creativity on it in the paint the engine And Sound System and interior all off it is fun to do and you get to learn more about your car when you work on it because there’s just so much you can do to a car and it will look good Just A lot More Interesting

I More of the box shaped cars than the rounded cars that we have today day because it just looks out of place now so to me they should just stop making new cars and make more Olds School Cars . classic Cars are just my favorite and one off my favorite cars is a 64 drop top impala with hydraulics Because it’s just so unique And I Can’t Stand Being Or Acting The Same Ass Others Because With This Car I Can Express My Creativity In The Paints More Of A Candy Glossy Shinny Type Of Paint And Some Nice Rims Too Add To It Makes It Look Great And Too Top it Off Add A Nice Sound System That Knocks Because Ever Since I Was Little I’ve Always Admired Old School A Despised All The Newer Models Cause I like’em old.

    Money
This commentary is about money from a teen's perspective and how he plans to earn money in life.

Money is the number one thing in life that gives you power.. Theirs a good way on making money & there is a bad way. You can work hard & go to school to get a job & get paid good which is the good way or you can rob, deal & manipulate people to get money which is the bad way . When you get your money the good way their aint no consequences, but when you do the bad way you can go too jail or receive other serious consequences. No matter how you get your money or how much you get it is NEVER enough money. Your always going want more & more. I rather take my time finish High school, go to college & get a good job instead of making money the easy way because how the say easy come easy go.

    Loyalty and Respect

This commentary was produced by one of the teens in the Adobe Youth Voices program at the South San Francisco Intel Computer Clubhouse program.  The member also created a song to go along with is commentary discussing "loyalty and respect" from a teen's perspective.

Loyalty and respect are very strong words a lot of people say they live by loyalty and die by respect, but who really understand what those words mean? To me I am loyal to myself and my family members and I respect those who respect me. My name is Charles and this is my commentary. Every day I think how loyalty and Respect fall into the life category, can anybody help me? Living life in present day is hard, but we got to live through it. What are you loyal to, and what do your respect?
