Regarder en arrière

• Julien: L’air de l’entreprenariat. Les nouvelles technologies permettent à de plus en plus de gens de regarder plus loin qu’un seul travail salarié. Continuité des années Covid ou nous revenons dans une quête de sens. Side business > nouvelle promotion. J’ai vu des amis quitter leur job, investir en eux-même, se réinventer, chercher à s’aligner avec eux-même. Et l’IA vient en catalyste, faisant tomber les barrières à l’entrée encore plus bas. 
• Baptiste: Transition d’un cycle à l’autre: le cycle de l’IA prend son envol (après le crypto/metaverse qui n’ont pas pris) comme les autres cycles, très promettant mais majoritairement inutile pour le moment. Les cycles précédents continuent de faire l’actu mais ne changent plus fondamentalement.
• Mat: Inflation, augmentation très forte des SaaS, Remparts de Québec, Capitales de Québec, Québec ville de champions, Netflix de la pub, Prime de la pub. L’Ukraine, on vit avec… Les feux de forêt au Canada. La fin de Twitter et selon moi de réseaux sociaux comme nous les avons connues. Vision Pro. ChatGPT 4!!!!
• Mike: Mouvementés / début d’année pour les big tech - mais finissent incroyable - +42% NASDAQ YTD - fait les hard calls / china -15% tech stock / impact de la  régulation commence -> amende pour FB / EU débute -> AI Big Tech -> iphone 15 with USB C / the end of easy money and low interest rate / big change in VC -> lower valuation but have to have a path to profitability and cash flow positive
• L’AI amène dans la tech dans un nouvel air -> que les gens sont prêt à utiliser -> je n’ai jamais vu une technologie aussi vite adoptée. Microsoft and OpenAI partnership

Prédictions

• Baptiste: Excitation autour du vision pro, premières utilisation vraiment innovantes utilisant l’AI
• Mat: Fin de X, Vision Air
• Mike : Après 2 ans de difficultés, blockchain technology trouve un intérêt /bitcoin-crypto  / et le grand gagnant est co-pilote Microsoft's Copilot AI chatbot app arrives on iOS 
• Julien: Apple entre dans l’arène de l’IA
