BRAWN Floorfillers Vol. 1 is my longest published mix to date, a full 2 hours of old skool house reworks and nu skool club house tracks from the last few years.

This mix blends classic house influences with modern production, featuring plenty of piano-driven moments, vocal cuts and uplifting energy throughout.

Starting at 128 BPM and building through to 136 BPM, it moves from groovy house into more driving club sounds, finishing with a cheeky classic trance moment at the end.

Expect that signature Manchester club sound, designed to keep the dancefloor moving from start to finish.

It has been a while since my last mix, the previous one was published back in August 2018. Many of you will know that during that time I lost my partner to cancer in 2019, so caring for him quite rightly became my main priority.

Over time I have slowly started to find my feet again, and during the difficult period of the coronavirus pandemic I felt it was the right moment to return to something that has always brought people together, uplifting piano house.

Piano Vibes 2 brings together a selection of piano-driven house tracks designed to lift the mood and bring a little positivity back to the dancefloor, even if that dancefloor is your living room.

This mix is a trip back to the sound of the Manchester Gay Village dancefloors during the early and mid 2000s.

Funky Village Classics Vol 1 brings together a collection of funky house tracks that were regular favourites across the bars and clubs around Canal Street. These were the tracks that filled the dancefloor, from early evening sets through to late night moments when the whole place was singing along.

Expect uplifting vocals, strong basslines and the kind of funky house grooves that defined that era of the Village scene.

I spent many years DJing on the Manchester scene, and these are some of the records that were always guaranteed to work with the crowd.

Twisted! is built around the twisted funky electro house sound that was big at the time.

I originally put this mix together for a friend who used to regularly come along to see me DJ. The brief was simple, something energetic, slightly darker, and packed with the kind of twisted electro house tracks that were filling dancefloors during that period.

The mix blends chunky basslines, driving beats and a slightly tougher edge compared to the vocal funky house sets I was often playing.

It captures a moment in time when electro house was influencing a lot of dancefloors and DJs were pushing things a little heavier and more underground.

If you enjoy that twisted electro house sound from the early 2010s, this mix should take you straight back.
