• Isaiah 2:10-3:9

    PA589 Isaiah 2:10-3:9 mp3

In this message, Yehovah complains that in Judah small and great were bowing down to idols, so He would humble them all and destroy their idols. In that day, they would cast their idols into holes in the ground to hide them from His wrath. Why should they fear man, who it little more than one nose full of breath? Yahweh will take away food and water from Judah, and all their rulers, so that children are all that is left to rule over them. They will ask a man who happens to have a nice cloak to rule over them, since he must have more than the rest, but he does not want to rule over the ruin. They have fallen so low because of how they acted against their God.

  • Isaiah 1:24-2:9

    PA588 Isaiah 1:24-2:9 mp3

In this message, in light of what He has said. Yehovah of Hosts says that He will purge His enemies Himself, refine his people and remove their dross, giving them back their judges like at the beginning. Zion will be just and righteous and ashamed of their former idolatry. The mountain of Yehovah’s dynasty will be exalted to the top of the mountains (governments). All nations will flow to it, their rulers wanting to go up and learn His ways so they can govern as He does. Yet the current nation is full of idols that all worship.

  • Isaiah 1:8-23

    PA587 Isaiah 1:8-23 mp3

In this message, we continue Yehovah’s complaint against His people Israel in the opening chapter of this great book of the prophet Isaiah. He would abandon them and only a very few as a remnant would survive. He compares Judah to the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which He destroyed. They were still performing sacrifices and offerings to Him, but He had no delight in them considering the kind of people they were. He could not bear their religious activities. They should leave them off, seek to purify their ways, and work justice and kindness to the poor. If they will do these things, He will wash away their sins. But they refuse! What can He do when His people are a lot of rebellious murderers?

  • Ephesians 5 – Walk in Light and Wisdom

PSA317 Ephesians 5 – Walk in Light and Wisdom mp3

In this message, we continue after studying Ephesians 5:1-7, wherein we saw that our duty in response to all God has done for us in Christ is to walk worthy of Him, first of all walking in love. Now we consider walking as children of light, the second way we are to walk as part of walking worthy. We should bear the fruit of this light and avoid the unfruitful enterprises of this darkness. Then, we should walk as wise ones, walking accurately. We should put off imprudence and put on understanding the Lord’s will. We should put off drunkenness and put on being filled with the Spirit. We should sing songs of praise to God. All these things are part of the worthy walk of the believer today.

  • Isaiah Introduction

    PA586 Isaiah Introduction mp3

In this message, we begin our study of the majestic book of the prophet Isaiah. We discuss an important fact that many miss: that much of Isaiah is poetry, just like the book of Psalms. We discuss the times in which Isaiah was written and the events it records. The higher critics think that there were two Isaiahs, one who added a false portion to the end of the first Isaiah’s book, but we show their arguments are incorrect. We then begin this fascinating book by examining the first seven verses. Yehovah calls heaven and earth to witness His complaint against His rebellious people.

  • Ephesians 5 – The Worthy Walk

    PSA316 Ephesians 5 – The Worthy Walk mp3

In this message, we discuss the fact that our duty in response to all God has done for us in Christ is to walk worthy of Him. Christ wishes us to walk in love, not to act in inappropriate ways, for these very wicked deeds will bring the indignation of God on the sons of stubbornness. We should walk as children of light and bear the fruit of the light. Those who are in darkness do shameful things, but the light enlightens all. We should not allow our culture to lull us to sleep, but should rise from among the dead and live our lives in the light.

    PSA315 Ephesians 4 – Put Off; Put On mp3

In this message, Paul advises us to strip off our old humanity like dirty, smelly clothes, have our minds renewed, and put on the new humanity that is in accord with God and His ways. Then, he tells specific things we are to put off and put on. Put off lying; put on speaking the truth. Put off sinning when you are angry. Put off stealing; put on laboring at something good so you can give to those in need. Put off putrid words; put on speaking things that build others up. Put off bitterness, fury, anger, clamor, and slanderous speech, and put on dealing graciously with each other.

  • Titus 3:6-13

    PA584 Titus 3:6-13 mp3

In this message, Paul assures Titus that washing and regeneration were poured on us abundantly through Jesus Christ. We are declared righteous by His grace, and many heirs in harmony with the expectation of eonian life. A faithful saying: we who have believed should be careful to maintain good works. Titus should avoid foolish questions and disputes, and warn a sectarian twice and then reject him. Paul discusses those he is going to send to Titus with this letter, and gives him instructions regarding some of them.

  • Ephesians 4 – Growing Up Into Christ

    PSA314 Ephesians 4 – Growing Up Into Christ mp3

In this message, Paul reveals that the goal of the gifts given in Acts was that all believers might come into unity regarding what they believed, that they would no longer be minors blown about by every doctrinal wind, but might be true, and in everything be growing up into Christ the head. The body grows in all things into the head, but what does this odd illustration mean? They are not to walk as the nations walk: in futility of mind, callousness of heart, and hedonism in their deeds. Instead, they should strip off this old way of living like dirty clothes.
