SEPTEMBER 27, 2008: Unionville had no problem in this Saturday afternoon showdown blanking The Red Raiders 27-0.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2008: Coach Mike Milano's Whippets were ready to go in their first league bout of the season, unfortunately Coach Doug Costin's Cougars were not. The final was Dtown West 40, W.C. East 3.

SEPTEMBER 20, 2008: It was all Bishop Shanahan in this Saturday afternoon showdown. The Eagles defeated Avon Grove 21-6.

SEPTEMBER 19, 2008: Coach Matta and the Cougars went into the evening 0-3 while the Red Raiders were undefeated (3-0). It was the first league-game for both squads, a true test to say the least. A heroic performance by Downintown East sophamore QB Trey Lolletta led the Cougars to a 19-14 win over the Red Raiders.

SEPTEMBER 12, 2008: All of the scoring came in the first quarter of play on this nasty night of football. Several games were cancelled due to the weather but the boys from Rustin and East played on in a defensive battle. Your final... WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 14, WEST CHESTER EAST 0.

September 8, 2008: This one was post-poned from Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon due to the weather. Shanahan didn't have a problem with Unionville at home beating them 27-12.
