Hey fans, I’m in a new band, The Sha Sha Shanimals!

It’s been a lot of fun, especially this week which was very busy because we played a live radio session, did a video shoot, got a bunch of stickers made, sold a t-shirt, had a rehearsal and played a gig! It has been a very long time since I was in such a productive band to be sure.

The radio show was a tiny bit hampered by some technical mishaps so, to avoid public embarassment, I will not identify the audio engineer.

Anyway, he inspired this track I made in conjunction with Siân called Thank you Unnamed Engineer.

I don’t post on here very often, but prior to now I have hidden the post dates. Now the entire world can witness my chronologically-challenged shame. A few small things to note:

• Having planned to update the design on this site for many many years I am now attempting to force my own hand by switching to this plain & ugly default WordPress theme
• I haven’t worked out how to get the audio back on the homepage as yet

Several people have drawn comparisons to a Cure song where Mr Smith is singing an equally banal advert but I have never heard that song and I refuse to acknowledge its similarity!
