This is from the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival. Pingxi is located in the eastern part of Taipei County, in the northern part Taiwan.

This is from the island of Ko Samet which is off of the North East coast of Thailand. Ko Samet is a beautiful island that is within an national park so it is stil not overly developed. It is almost as close to a tropical paradise that I have ever been to.

This is from a floating market a few hours outside of Bangkok, Thailand. Watching this video you can get a feel for a floating market, as well as, the amateur singers along the banks. Unfortunately what you miss is the important smells of the market.
