Have you ever needed a new start?

In this week’s message, Guest Speaker Bob Merritt shares a powerful message about what happens when our choices leave us feeling stuck, broken, or far from God. Through the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, Bob reminds us that we all have moments when we find ourselves in a “glorious mess”—but our mess does not have to be the end of our story.

Sin often begins with a thought, moves into action, and eventually brings pain and loss. But even in our deepest moments, there is an opportunity for redemption.

The good news is that one good decision can begin to change everything. Like the prodigal son who chose to go back home to his father, we can take a step toward God—even when we feel unworthy or unsure where to begin.

And when we turn toward the Father, we discover that He is waiting for us. His response is compassion, restoration, belonging, and love.

No matter what you’ve done or how far you’ve wandered, there is a way home.

You may be in a glorious ruin, but God is not finished with your story.

Where are you on the journey? How are you doing on the journey? And who is guiding you on the journey?

In this week's message, Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell invites us to consider an essential truth for every season of life: Jesus Christ is our only real rescue on the open seas of life’s journey.

Psalm 51 reminds us of our need for God’s mercy, unfailing love, and great compassion. We all carry transgressions, iniquity, and sin—but God meets us with grace and forgiveness.

Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the One through whom all things were created, and the One in whom all things hold together. Through Christ, God reconciles us to Himself and makes peace through the blood Jesus shed on the cross.

At the cross, Jesus took what we deserved and gave us what we could never deserve.

Wherever you are on the journey, Jesus is our hope, our guide, and our rescue.

What if the miracle you’ve been praying for is on the other side of an uncomfortable act of obedience?

In our last week of the Revival Sparks series, Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson shares from Luke 5:1–11 about what it means to obey Jesus—even when His instructions are uncomfortable, toilsome, or don’t make sense.

Jesus told Simon Peter to go out into the deep water and let down his nets again. Peter had already worked all night and caught nothing. He had every reason to question the instruction—but he chose to obey.

And his obedience led to a miracle.

Sometimes Jesus will ask you to do things that are inconvenient, difficult, or outside of your understanding. But if you say no because it’s uncomfortable, you may miss what Jesus wants to do through your obedience.

Peter’s story reminds us that obedience isn’t always easy, but Jesus is always worthy of our trust.

Who can you trust?

Jesus chose you, but following Him still requires a choice.

What does it really mean to believe in Jesus, receive His grace, and surrender your life to follow Him?

In week two of our message series “Revival Sparks”, Guest Speaker Bob Merritt explores three defining words of the Christian life: chosen, believe, and sacrifice.

Jesus chose ordinary people to know Him, follow Him, and bear lasting fruit. Yet Scripture also shows that many encountered Jesus without truly receiving Him. Genuine belief is more than knowing facts about Christ. It means trusting who He is, accepting the life He offers, and allowing that faith to transform how we live.

Jesus invites anyone who is spiritually thirsty to come to Him and receive living water. He also calls His followers to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Him. Grace is freely given, but discipleship requires surrender.

How do you help a friend who is hurting?

In this message from our Fostering Friendship teaching series, Teaching Pastor Ron Merrell looks at the story of Job and his friends to explore what biblical friendship looks like in seasons of suffering, grief, pain, and spiritual struggle.

Helping hurting people matters deeply, but it is also tender work.
