Trump's and Bernie's Jet Quagmire, Met Gala Gaucheness, & Baseball Dreams
Welcome to episode forty-four of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:
1) A discussion of some notable achievements of two loathsome individuals, Robert F. Kennedy's attempt to eliminate dyes from our food and tackle the obesity epidemic and Trump's deal-making that may benefit the U.S. economy. Unfortunately, Trump undermines the little positive achievements of his Presidency by accepting a lavish plane from Qatar to replace Air Force One as a gift, further highlighting his lack of ethics.
2) Bernie Sanders has been crisscrossing the country campaigning against Oligarchs with AOC flying in a private jet, which exposes what a fraudulent hypocrite he is as he spews carbon emissions into the atmosphere while pontificating his antiquated socialist views.
3) The 2025 Met Gala was a gauche and garish spectacle of bad taste organized by the loathsome Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, who has promoted elitism, racism, and eating disorders. The entire event is a disgrace, and Ms. Wintour deserves a long overdue cancellation.
4) A story of a baseball underdog, JC Escarra, who made it onto the Yankees at age 30 through persistence and grit. This uplifting story is at least one example of some positivity in a very dark period of American history.

In this episode, Adam and Tom dive deep into the fogginess that entrepreneurs experience when they lose clarity in their businesses. They explore how to clear that fog not with Benadryl, but with truth, intention, and aligned action. The conversation is a powerful reflection on the importance of letting go of excuses, embracing reality, and fully stepping into who you are right now, rather than waiting for the “perfect moment.”

Hanoi Jane Emerges, Trump's 100 Days of Buffoonery and Outrage, and the New Anti-MAGA American Pope
Welcome to episode forty-three of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:
1) The Audubon Society, an organization Stu supports, awarded Jane Fonda for her environmental work, which caused Stu to boycott the event and consider a protest against her due to her traitorous behavior during the Vietnam War.
2) Trump's insulting and outrageous proposal to rename Veterans Day, which was greeted with consternation by those who served their country in the military, unlike Trump, who evaded service by claiming he had bone spurs like the cowardly nepo baby he is.
3) The election of Mike Carney as Prime Minister in Canada. Carney is a far-left candidate, and the conservative was expected to win. Instead, due to a Trump backlash over his calls for annexation, the Canadians revolted, indicating how weak Trump's influence is globally. Similar electoral results occurred in Australia, indicating how poorly the MAGA brand sells internationally, unlike Reagan, who brought his revolution to the world and won the Cold War.
4) The ridiculous proposal by Trump to repurpose Alcatraz as a federal prison when it is basically in ruins and would require rebuilding and probably would be impractical to operate. This is another stunt that further indicates how weak his presidential leadership has been.
5) Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, an American, was chosen as the new Pope Leo XIV, and he is not conservative either. In fact, he had previously condemned Trump's and JD Piglet's immigration policies. Meanwhile, Trump disrespected Catholic tradition at Francis' funeral and then posted an AI image of himself as Pope. Imagine what the liberal elite media would have done if he had posted himself as MLK or Mohammad.

Now Serving, Benjamin Shelton
This week's episode is loaded with releases, signings, and Hulk Hogan lies. Jay discusses the recent WWE releases and the jam-packed news coverage on Wrestling Rundown.
In this episode, Tom and Adam dive deep into what really makes sales happen — and it’s not just slick tactics or great networking. It’s about consistency, mindset, and mastering the simple selling system that turns casual conversations into paying clients.
You’ll hear stories from their 5WH program, real client breakthroughs, and how combining execution strategy with mindset mastery is the game-changer for business owners. Whether you're overwhelmed by follow-ups, frustrated with unproductive networking, or struggling with sabotaging behaviors — this episode has the tools, mindset shifts, and clarity to help you close more deals with less stress.

Key Takeaways:
• ✅ Follow-up is everything. If you’re not following up consistently, you’re leaving money on the table.
• 🧠 Your consistency doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Define your version and stick with it.
• 💬 Conversations that close are built by asking the right questions. When done correctly, prospects will literally tell you how to close them.
• 🔄 Sales success isn’t just tactical—it’s internal. Saboteurs, limiting beliefs, and disempowering self-talk can crush your ability to execute.
• 📅 Networking without a system is a waste of time. The stack of business cards means nothing if you don’t have a plan to engage the right people.
• 💥 The ‘People Pleaser’ trap is real. Learn to set boundaries and say no to the wrong people so you can say yes to the right ones.
• 🔁 Repetition makes it real. Like golf, the awkwardness of new techniques fades with practice and the system becomes second nature.

Tish Saves Preston, Corpse Hawking, Trump's Handmaid's Tale, & Stu's Tribute.
Welcome to episode forty-two of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:
1) Some updates about past issues we covered, including how David is repulsed by Levis, and is steadfast that AOC is more palatable than JD Piglet Vance, who met the Pope one day and the next day the Pope died of a stroke. We also discuss how NY Attorney General Tish James, a Trump nemesis, cut a real estate deal and saved the Preston school, while Trump has not closed any significant trade deals or ended the war in Ukraine or Gaza.
2) Harvard has had its share of scandals these days, including how a morgue manager, Sedgwick Lodge, was selling body parts for cash in what can only be described as a comic macabre criminal enterprise.
3) Trump has proposed paying women a $5,000 bonus if they have a baby and are US citizens in order to increase America's declining birth rates. We suspect that this must be a brainchild of his best friend, Elon Musk, who pays women $15 million for having his babies, as noted in a recent Wall Street Journal article. This proposal is truly sickening and reflects the values of Elizabeth Warren rather than the Republican Party.
3) Stu ends the show by reading a letter from a friend who is close to dying and his farewell which is rather poignant. This fitting tribute is heartfelt and moving.

Celebrating a milestone with Jay Santy and the rest of the Turnbuckle Tabloid family is a lot of work. On this monumental event, Jay talks wrestling news with Ari and Mike for Wrestling Rundown, and The Keef makes his long-awaited return to talk wrestling and sports like the good ol' days.
In this candid episode, Tom and Adam unpack the emotional rollercoaster of entrepreneurship and why so many business owners feel like they're always starting over. From podcast inspiration to coaching revelations, they discuss the importance of patience, trusting your intuition, and resisting the temptation to constantly compare your journey to others'. They also dive deep into the harsh truth: the grass often looks greener because it's been heavily fertilized — sometimes with a whole lot of crap.
If you’ve ever struggled with staying the course, felt the pressure to pivot, or believed you should be further along, this episode will remind you why the long game matters, how to identify the right kind of fertilizer for your growth, and why building a successful business really does take a decade.
💡 Key Takeaways:
• The Podcast Shift: Listening to a wider variety of podcasts revealed a gap between philosophy and tactical guidance, sparking reflection on what truly adds value — and how that applies to your own business and content creation.
• The Grass is Greener… Because It’s Fertilized: Growth takes fertilizer — aka “the shit” you have to go through. There’s no shortcut to rich, sustainable success. Embrace the grind instead of trying to avoid it.
• Coaching vs. Courses: Clients in coaching programs think long-term. Course-takers often seek immediacy. Each mindset needs different strategies, but both must go through the hard stuff.
• Comparison Kills Progress: When you compare your journey to someone else’s highlight reel, you ignore the foundation they built — framing, wiring, and all. Focus on your build, not their finished product.
• Trust Your Intuition: When comparison takes over, your intuition gets drowned out by ego and insecurity. Your gut knows what’s right — you don’t need permission to follow it.
• Business Takes a Decade: It’s a journey of layers: build, exploit, delegate, and scale. Most people quit too early and restart, losing time instead of gaining ground.
• Stop Chasing 10x Before You’ve Hit 2x: Growth isn’t magic; it’s methodical. You can’t skip the process. Master what you’re already good at before leaping to what’s next.
• Embrace the Bipolar Nature of Business: There will be highs and lows. Don’t let either extreme control your decisions. Learn to ride the waves without crashing.
• Know Who You Are and Why You’re Doing This: Use tools like the Simple Focus System to realign your values, identity, and business goals. Success starts with clarity.

👋 Final Thoughts:
If you’re stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in another comparison trap — don’t pivot blindly. Let us help you identify if the “shit” you’re in is worth growing through. You can build something amazing — just make sure it’s yours.
