    128. Why You're NOT Failing at Weight Loss (Even If You Can't See Results Yet)

    Are you doing everything right, the meals, the movement, the mindset work, and still the scale is not budging? The mirror is not showing what you hoped for and somewhere in the back of your head a little voice is saying what is the point? I hit two major plateaus on my 65-pound weight loss journey, one that lasted months and one that lasted four straight months, and I almost quit both times. Today, I am telling you exactly what kept me going and what will keep you going too.

    125. 5 Summer Weight Loss Myths I Wish I Never Believed (And What I'd Tell Myself Starting Over Again)

    If I could go back to every single summer of my weight loss journey and shake myself, I would. Because I spent years following summer weight loss advice, I was so convinced I was right…and it was keeping me completely stuck. The salad only barbecues. The two-a-day workouts in the heat. The I'll be good all day so I can eat at night strategy. The summer detoxes. The I have to earn my vacation body mentality. All of it. And none of it worked. Not because I wasn't disciplined enough. Because the advice itself was wrong.

    In this episode, I am sharing the 5 summer weight loss myths I wish I never believed and exactly what I would tell myself instead if I were starting my journey over right now in June. We are talking about why your body actually needs more fuel in summer not less, why summer is the best season to practice mindful eating not the hardest one, and why joy and presence are fat loss tools, not obstacles.     121. Why "I'll Just Use My Insurance" Is the Most Expensive Weight Loss Mistake You'll Make

    I get this DM constantly, almost word for word, over and over again. "I just found out I have free health coaching through my insurance, so I'm going to try that first." And I get it. Free sounds amazing, especially when you have already spent so much money trying to lose weight. But here is the truth nobody is telling you: free is only a good deal if it works. And if it doesn't work, free is the most expensive thing you will ever try.

    In this episode, I am pulling back the curtain on exactly what insurance-based nutrition coverage actually looks like from the inside, because I lived it. Before I built Mindful Weight Loss Academy, I worked as a bariatric dietitian inside the insurance system, seeing 16 patients a day with 15 minutes of actual face time per person. And what I saw made me walk away and build something completely different.

    118. Why Everything You've Heard About Your Metabolism Is Wrong (And What Actually Works for Weight Loss)

    Ever feel like the internet has completely gaslit you about your metabolism? Like you've been cutting carbs, grinding through cardio, and blaming your genetics and still nothing is working? Here's the truth nobody is saying out loud: almost everything you've been told about your metabolism is wrong. And the things you've been avoiding might actually be exactly what your body needs.

    In today’s episode, I'm busting 3 of the most persistent metabolism myths floating around social media, diet culture, and yes, even some doctors' offices. We're talking about why carbs are not the enemy (your thyroid actually needs them), why doing more exercise can make weight loss harder not easier, and why your genetics are not the death sentence you think they are. This is the episode I wish someone had handed me when I was cutting my protein bar into thirds, doing hours of cardio, and still gaining weight.

    The truth is your body isn't broken. It's been given the wrong instructions. When you stop restricting carbs out of fear, swap endless cardio for smarter movement, and start pulling the lifestyle levers that actually control your metabolic rate like sleep, protein, stress, and muscle, everything changes. I've seen it in my own 65lb journey and in hundreds of women inside Mindful Weight Loss Academy.
