Finding love after loss can seem unimaginable, but we often find love when we’re not necessarily looking. In this special episode, Omar Samra opens up about the loss of his first wife Marwa. 

He takes us through his healing journey and his fears before and while being with Mint. Creating a safe space where they can build a new relationship meant considering not only his own feelings, but those of his daughter Teela’s.

We’ve all heard of the trope of the traditional step-mother. In this week's episode, Mint and Omar have a candid and open-hearted conversation about blending their families and the steps they took to ensure everyone was comfortable in their marriage, namely Omar’s daughter Teela. For Mint, starting out as a best friend to Teela then taking on a mother role just did not fit their dynamic. Hear from her how they went back to being best friends.
