    Patterns: Rules Or Tools?

Patterns- are they rules set in stone or are there times where it's not only desirable, but necessary to edit, or deviate completely off pattern? Join us as we discuss some reasons why we should look at patterns more as guides rather than set in stone directions. We also talk FO's, WIPS and some shop news. Photos of WIPS and FO's on my blog. Thank you for being here!

    Knitting for the In-Between Season

Welcome! The light is shifting—even if the heat hasn’t. This episode is about that space between late summer and early fall, when your knitting starts leaning toward layers even as the days stay warm. We’ll talk breathable fibers, versatile pieces, and how to plan a hand-knit wardrobe that works through the change of season. We also talk works in progress, some frogged knitting and a little ravelry tip that may be new to you.

A few technical notes, there are a couple of glitches that result in longer than normal pauses. Just hang tight I do get back on the air! And, despite what I say during this episode, my store is Pearl And Clover and that is pearl like the stone not the stitch😂. Thank you for being here and I hope you enjoy!

The Art Of Knitting The Perfect Fit

If you’ve ever been disappointed by a finished garment this one’s for you.

In this episode, we’re deep diving into fit. Why is it that we can follow all the rules, knit to gauge, and still end up with a garment that just doesn’t… fit? We’re talking about what really makes a garment work on your body—and yes, we’re chatting about summer yarns and plenty more, too. Come join the fun! Everything I mention in the episode can be found on my blog—check the links below for that and everywhere else I hang out online.
