For the third year in a row, it's the Roos and the Lions. No-one's won back-to-back AFLW flags before. North Melbourne can be the first to do it.

The Roos are in a record-breaking mood, the Carlton and GWS and Gold Coast and Collingwood players had to flee from lightning, and the name of Coffs Harbour's stadium is quite capable of derailing this podcast.

From a jaunt around Britain and Ireland return Broden and Tom, armed each with a veritable novella of culinary experience and a hankering for the good ship footy pod. It's great to have them back.

Marnie's penned a few great yarns this week. One is about footy fatigue and how it affects the attention fans can give the AFLW, which you can read about here. She also went for a dip in the Williamstown surf. We break down the why in excruciating detail.

It's Round 10 of the AFLW season, the AFL trade period has come to an end, so thank goodness we have Marnie Vinall and Hester Brown (and Bec Petraitis!) in house to navigate through it.

In August of this year, Mitch Brown became the first AFL player to identify publicly as bisexual.

It was a significant moment in the game's history. We applaud Mitch for his bravery and the example he has set for countless people across the country.

It was an excellent Grand Final. Scores were level at half time. Through a fair part of the third quarter, things were close and tense.

And then the Lions took the game away, took the season away, and will take the premiership cup back to Brisbane for a second consecutive year.
