Does God Play Favourites? | SOLO Episode with Radhika Das

This episode explores the question many of us ask: Does God play favourites? Although scriptures show Him protecting devotees and correcting wrongdoers, the Gītā explains that God is equal to all - He simply reciprocates with the attitude we bring to Him.

Like a parent or teacher who responds differently based on a child’s sincerity or needs, God’s actions may look varied, but they all come from compassion. He accepts the heart, not the scale of our actions, and even those who oppose Him ultimately receive His mercy.

We’re invited to reflect on whether we sometimes perceive God as biased - and how our outlook might shift if we saw all His actions as expressions of care, guidance, and upliftment.

Religion Just Doesn’t Work Anymore, Right? | Radhika Das, Stine Dulong & Nāma

What happens when old spiritual traditions meet the needs of the modern world? In this session, we talked about how tradition and modern life can work together. With Nama and Stine, we explored how spiritual institutions are changing to connect with today’s audiences while still staying true to their roots.

We used simple examples - like how laws stay the same but society changes—to show the careful balance between keeping traditions authentic and updating them with compassion. We also looked at modern practices, like yoga, to show how spiritual teachings can stay relevant and easy for people to understand today.

How to deal with mistakes in Bhakti | SOLO Episode with Radhika Das

When someone makes a mistake, do we hold them accountable or do we end up blaming everyone connected to them?We explore the narrative of King Dhruva, whose grief led him to unfairly target an entire race, and the tale of Daksha and Lord Shiva, where personal pride ignited widespread conflict. - the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam reminds us that anger spreads fast, and blame spreads even faster. But Bhakti wisdom invites us to pause, to respond with balance instead of overreaction, to take responsibility without unfairly condemning others. This episode challenges us to consider our own tendencies in moments of conflict: Do we cast blame too broadly, and are we mindful of how our actions ripple through our communities?Want to connect further?Instagram: www.instagram.com/radhika_dasa/Facebook: www.facebook.com/radhikadasmusicYouTube: www.youtube.com/c/RadhikaDasWebsite: www.radhikadas.comPatreon: www.patreon.com/radhikadasLinktree: linktr.ee/radhika_dasa

Let scripture not only inform you, but transform you | SOLO Episode with Radhika Das

In this episode of For Soul’s Sake, we explore the many layers of meaning within sacred texts like the Bhagavad-gītā. Far from being static rulebooks, scriptures are living conversations that evolve with us — offering new insights each time we return to them. Radhika reflects on how verses can shift from battlefield stories to inner battles, from instructions to transformations, and how the guidance of saints and teachers helps reveal depth without distortion. This is an invitation to let scripture not only inform you, but transform you — if you’re willing to listen with the heart.Want to connect further?Instagram: www.instagram.com/radhika_dasa/Facebook: www.facebook.com/radhikadasmusicYouTube: www.youtube.com/c/RadhikaDasWebsite: www.radhikadas.comPatreon: www.patreon.com/radhikadasLinktree: linktr.ee/radhika_dasa

Why Bhakti Without a Guru Is Like a Lamp Without a Flame | SOLO Episode with Radhika Das

In this episode, we explore the role of a guru — not as a distant authority figure, but as a deeply personal guide on the path of transformation. It’s easy to think we can walk the spiritual journey alone, armed with books, podcasts, and inspirational content. But real growth often requires something more grounded, more relational. We talk about what a true guru is, what they aren’t, and why having guidance isn’t about surrendering your freedom — it’s about uncovering it. I also share a bit of my own story, the shift that happened when I met my teacher, and how that relationship continues to shape my journey. This one’s for anyone who’s ever wondered if they really need a guide… or if they’re ready to receive one.Want to connect further?Instagram: www.instagram.com/radhika_dasa/Facebook: www.facebook.com/radhikadasmusicYouTube: www.youtube.com/c/RadhikaDasWebsite: www.radhikadas.comPatreon: www.patreon.com/radhikadasLinktree: linktr.ee/radhika_dasa
