It didn’t seem possible earlier in the week, after a contentious back and forth between Buckingham Palace and Prince Harry over whether the Prince was invited to overnight at the Palace while he was in London.  Despite the public ugliness of that dispute, and the fact that Harry was denied security for his family while in the UK, somehow a reunion was arranged for the estranged family.  Buckingham Palace confirmed King Charles and Queen Camilla received Prince Harry and family at their country residence just outside of London Friday evening.

It’s always a heartwarming and emotional day at the villa when family members show up for the islanders to give them support, love, and some insight into their newly formed relationships. There is a potentially huge development for the missing Michigan woman whose husband claimed fell off their dinghy in rough waters in the Bahamas. While the body of Lynette Hooker has not been found, investigators believe she may never have fallen out of the dingy. There is a new theory that Hooker may have had an altercation on the sailboat she shared with her husband Brian. Hooker’s mom has been giving interviews saying foul play was involved in her daughter’s death, adding that the investigation is taking longer than she anticipated, “but that’s what the coast guard told me to say.”

It was an eye opening day of testimony in this week’s preliminary hearing for Tyler Robinson, who is facing the death penalty for the public assassination of Charlie Kirk on an Utah campus last September. Robinson’s former partner and roommate sat down with prosecutors in a pre-recorded interview played for the court on Thursday where he detailed Robinson’s behavior before and after the murder. Lance Twiggs also revealed the handwritten note where Robinson confesses to the murder and says he is likely dead or facing a lengthy prison sentence.  Prosecutors also presented a series of text messages to Twiggs and others where Robinson seems to be proving to friends he was the one responsible for Kirk’s murder.

Two time World Cup champion and double Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd called out the U.S. men’s national team star Christian Pulisic for his lackluster performance against Belgium and throughout the World Cup. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump is now representing the family of 18-year-old Nolan Wells who went missing on the Fourth of July. The college football player set out on a boat with a group of white friends to party with other young adults off the coast of Mississippi. His body was found days later off Horn Island with no explanation of how he ended up dead, in the water. As the family awaits results of an independent autopsy, police are asking anyone with videos or photos from the island party to immediately contact authorities.

An unbelievable story out of Arizona, after an emergency room doctor pronounced 1-year-old Vincent Fiordilino dead after he fell into the family pool and was underwater for more than 5 minutes. Police body cam footage shows nurses, the family and even officers question whether the boy was actually dead after they saw breathing and a faint pulse. Police say the doctor “arrogantly” insisted the toddler was deceased, and it wasn’t until more than 5 hours later that a transporter from the medical examiner’s office found the toddler alive in the morgue. As the family prepares to sue the doctor and the hospital, prosecutors are considering filing felony child abuse charges against the parents, who were apparently smoking marijuana when the toddler fell in the pool.
