Everything was going swimmingly – until the police were called. Find out why! (Note: It involves drivers who will stop at nothing to drive home their opinions on the importance of gratuity.) Then Jethro takes us to the mountains above Tucson, AZ, where a gentleman was enjoying the sweeping views of the city before a late monsoon rain blew in to wash away the summer heat. In Episode #142 of The Shallow End, Jethro’s out of the gate with a story of a young woman who took an elderly relative to help him withdraw thousands of dollars from his bank. Just one hitch there – the man didn’t appear “to be well.” It kind of went downhill from there. Then Lindsay shares a story about a firefighter who really liked flames.
