In this episode of "Bridging Hearts," hosts Divya and Ravisha embark on a quest to transform conversations from feeling like "battlefields" to becoming meaningful "bridges" within relationships.
The CB duo kick off by advocating for 2024 as the year to embrace tough conversations, emphasizing the crucial role such discussions play in nurturing healthy relationships. They address the challenges inherent in engaging in these discussions, acknowledging the discomfort and fear that often accompany them. They share personal experiences and keep it real, as always!
Delving deeper, Divya and Ravisha explore strategies to establish safe and welcoming spaces conducive to open dialogue. They emphasize the importance of cultivating emotional safety within relationships, enabling individuals to feel secure enough to share their thoughts and feelings willingly. The hosts acknowledge that for many, fostering such environments might feel unfamiliar or even daunting, and they provide practical guidance to ease these transitions.

Hi there CB listeners! Let's jump into today's episode with Shivani Shah! She is inspiring AF, and we know you're going to love this episode. This sparkshow is a woman who left her corporate FANG job to pursue acting. She shares how she stepped away from the "comfort" to go toward her passion, her tips for staying focused, and shares her secrets that keep her going when it's hard to do some.
She shared some GREAT resources, see them below!
- Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/615570.The_Artist_s_Way
- Paul Arden quote: “Everyone wants an exciting life, but most people are afraid to take the bull by the horns. So they take an easy option for an exciting life. They live their excitement through other people. By aligning themselves with famous rebels, a little bit of glamor rubs off on them. They imagine they’re like John Lennon, Ernest Hemingway, George Best, Liam Gallagher, Lenny Bruce, Janis Joplin, Damien Herst, Andy Warhol, etc. The difference being, these people when faced with a decision took the outrageous one, not knowing where it might lead them, but knowing that the safe decision had danger written all over it.”

WOO! It's so great to be back with you after a few months of summer slow down time. I know it might have seemed like I disappeared, but I promise there was a purpose behind it all. In today's episode, we want to share with you why we took things slow this summer and how it's all been a part of our "Reflective Girl Summer." Did we just make that up!?
Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is a "Reflective Girl Summer"? Well, it's a term the CB duo is coining to describe this intentional period of time where we've focused on self-reflection, healing, and personal growth. Just like the changing seasons, we all go through different phases in life, and this summer, we decided it was time for a bit of a reset.
This reflective period hasn't just been about taking it easy, though. It's also been a time of healing. We all carry wounds, big or small, and sometimes we need to give ourselves the space to address them. With this reflection - we are SO EXCITED for what we have ahead in the season to come for CB ... you don't want to miss this ;)
So with that we thank you for your patience during this "Reflective Girl Summer." We both SOO appreciate your support and understanding as we took the time to recharge, reflect, heal, and grow.
Get ready, because the upcoming season is going to be a journey we embark on together, filled with discovery, learning, and meaningful connections. Stay tuned, and let's continue brewing these conversations!

Re-listen to Divya & Ravisha as they discuss Summer Burnout! As we are now in August, you might be feeling a little burnt out from Summer plans and need some helpful tips as we are moving into the last month of Summer.
They sit down with an iced coffee and talk about how their busy schedules have led them to feel overwhelmed - and how even the most fun plans can be exhausting. They break down the dichotomy of summer plans - how they can be joyful and also draining.
The two of them then reflect on how their relationship with "making plans" has changed as they've grown up -- how when they were younger they would do anything to have weekend plans and as adults they would do (almost) anything to have a free weekend.
They break down...
