17 August 2026, 9:45 am - 55 minutes 18 secondsThe Serial Killer Caught Because Of An Earthquake | S18E6
Wu Yinghong might have gotten away with his brutal crimes but it seemed like the universe had other plans for him.
In September of 1999, a couple of fisherman were fishing near the Shuangcui Damn in Xinshe, Taiwan, when they discovered a decomposed and swollen head lodged between 2 rocks. Further investigations over the next few days found more bones consisting of vertebrae, pelvis, left palm and left foot which were matched to the head, but despite numerous pleas and sketches sent to the media, no one came forward.
2 weeks later, a major event occurred that would reinvigorate interest in the case. On the 21st of September, 1999, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake devastated central Taiwan, leading to the deaths of thousands and the destruction of billions of infrastructure. However, amidst the chaos and the rubble, workers at Sun Moon lake discovered plastic bags containing the dismembered remains of 2 other victims. Given that the modus operandi were eerily similar to the earlier case, local police investigations into a possible connection, and finally found a proper lead.

Singapore may be known today for its clean waters, its glittering malls, and its abundance of food spots and eateries, but only a few will remember how different the country used to be not too long ago, as well as the pains and sacrifices that it took to get us to where we are today.
From the fall of Singapore, to life during the Japanese Occupation, and even to the brutal purging campaign known as Sook Ching, in this episode we take a look back at some of our darkest days to remind us of how far we've come, and how much we have overcome to make it to our nation's 61st birthday.

3 August 2026, 9:45 am - 56 minutes 11 secondsTwo Teenage Girls and a Fully Planned Murder Plot | S18E4
On the 22nd of January 26, authorities at Lake Brantley High School in Florida received an anonymous tipoff that one of their students had plans to murder their fellow schoolmate. While seemingly implausible at first, police were nonetheless called in to investigate the matter, and 2 students, 15 year old Isabelle Valdez and 14 year old Lois Lippert, would be brought in for questioning the next day.
What they uncovered however, was nothing short of disturbing; involvement in online communities revering serial killers, graphic drawings and images depicting murder, and fully fledged murder plot that was 20 minutes away from being realized.

20 July 2026, 9:45 am - 55 minutes 30 secondsThe Cult Leader Who Thought He Was a Doctor | S18E2
He had no medical training. No degree, no license, not even a single completed course. But what he had was absolute belief in himself, and the idea that his own hands were the instruments of divine correction.
To the people who lived on his commune in rural Quebec, he wasn't just their leader. He was Moïse. A divine prophet and healer. And when illness or "impurity" struck one of his followers, he didn't call a doctor.
He became one.
With kitchen tools and whatever else was on hand, he performed surgeries no hospital would recognize. Teeth pulled without anesthetic. Limbs operated on in the name of purification. Bodies permanently altered by a man who told his followers that pain was proof of faith, and that questioning him was a sin only God could punish.
By the time authorities finally intervened, the damage was carved directly into the survivors themselves. All permanent, and impossible to explain away.
This is the story of Roch Thériault, and the commune known as the Ant Hill Kids.

So, why did the King's advisor point at a deer and call it a horse? Why were loyal aides killed after winning the war? And why did a general ask his men to break the pots and sink the ships? 6 July 2026, 9:45 am - 28 minutes 36 secondsBreaking Bonus: 180 Yuan After 8 Years
For eight years, Chutou, and 8 year old border collie, went everywhere with Guo, a travel influencer from Henan. China. Snow-capped mountains. Desert highways. Remote campsites where Chutou stood guard through the night so his owner could sleep. Together, they built a life on the road, and along the way amassed an audience of over a million people who followed their journey.
Then, in early May 2026, Guo left for a solo trip, and while he was gone, Chutou went missing.
What followed was every pet owner's worst nightmare: surveillance footage of strangers loading his dog onto a bike, a frantic flight home, two weeks of desperate searching, before finally, the devastating truth. Chutou had been sold to a restaurant for 180 yuan. Less than thirty dollars. And he was already gone.
In this episode, we dig into the details of this tragic case, while also looking into the legal and cultural ramifications of the dog meat industry in China, and why it still persists to this day.
NOTE: If you are someone who is especially sensitive to stories of pet abuse and mistreatment, you might want to tune away from this episode.

The premise of the Final Destination series of movies was always sold as fiction. Just a series of absurd and grotesque deaths shown for our entertainment.
But what if some of these cases weren't so fictional after all? And what if the ridiculous and absurd deaths portrayed in the movies actually took place in real life? From your scarf getting caught in your car tires, to getting hit in the head by a fire hydrant missile, to a 600kg bale of hay trampling through the streets; in this episode, we take a look at some cases that really make us question if some people are just truly unlucky, or if there is a higher power leading them to their fate.
