On December 2, 2019, 43-year-old Christine Holloway was found dead in her home, her young baby Vanessa missing. Her boyfriend, 48-year-old Jose Morales was immediately under suspicion, as he was high, unhelpful with police, and just generally unconcerned for his dead girlfriend and missing baby. Further questioning and investigation led police to charging Morales with beating Christine to death and trying to clean the crime scene afterwards. Vanessa is still missing to this day.

On December 16, 2022, 32-year-old nurse Alex Pennig had been found dead in her bathroom at home, victim to an allegedly self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. On November 8, 2019, 24-year-old Morgan Patten made the long trip from her home down to Jacksonville, NC to visit her fiancé, Phil Brandon, a Marine training at Camp Geiger. After she arrived at her hotel that night, she decided to go out to the nearby Applebee’s for a quick dinner before turning in for the night. When she was in the restaurant, she quickly became the target of two predatory Marines who were prowling the area for a victim. They drugged and put her into their truck to assault her, and then got into a horrible car accident which ended up being fatal for Morgan.

I am writing to respectfully request that the Kentucky State Police consider formally seeking assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the ongoing missing persons investigation involving Brookelyn Shae Farthing, who disappeared on June 22, 2013, from Madison County, Kentucky.

More than a decade has passed since Brookelyn was last seen, and despite extensive investigative efforts, the case remains unresolved. On February 28, 2011, 24-year-old Shelley Mook dropped her 6-year-old daughter Lilli off at her ex-husband Tyler Mook’s house. Shelley allegedly stayed for an hour and then left to run some errands. However, she never returned. Her car was later found abandoned and burned in a field nearby. Her ex Tyler already had a history of violence against Shelley, but has never been charged with possibly murdering or abducting her.

In 2023, then 18-year-old Madison Schemitz had been avoiding her ex-boyfriend, Spencer Pearson, who had been stalking her. One night she went out to dinner with her mother and some friends, spotted Pearson, and left the restaurant. On July 26, 2016, then 27-year-old Tucker Reed shot and killed her uncle Shane Moore during a family dispute over land allocation and money. Moore was responsible for caring for his father, and was promised the land and house, but his sister, Tucker's mother, took issue with this, as she had debts, and was using the family for money. This hatred and jealousy of her brother clearly made its way to Tucker, who fatally shot him after the two went over to sabotage Moore's appointment with a Notary Public.
