Holy Week Live: Tuesday: Jesus Confronts Religion

Tuesday of Holy Week is one of the most intense and overlooked days in the life of Jesus.

After entering Jerusalem and cleansing the temple, Jesus returns to teach… and what follows is a direct confrontation with the religious leaders in Matthew 21–23.

This isn’t quiet teaching. This is bold, public truth.

The leaders question His authority. Jesus responds with parables that reveal what’s really happening beneath the surface.

And then He speaks directly to the systems and patterns that were keeping people from truly encountering God.

In this episode, we walk through:

• What was happening in the temple on Tuesday of Holy Week

• Why the religious leaders felt threatened by Jesus

• The meaning behind the parables Jesus shared

• What Jesus was exposing through His teaching

• Why truth can feel uncomfortable… and why that doesn’t make it wrong

This day shows us something important about the heart of Jesus.

He is loving… but He is not passive.

And sometimes the most loving thing He does… is confront what’s false so something real can take its place.

Palm Sunday is one of the most recognized moments in the Bible… but it’s also one of the most misunderstood.
