    A Booth in the Wilderness

In this episode, we celebrate the Feast of Sukkot with a message called “A Booth in the Wilderness.” Sukkot reminds us that Israel had been redeemed from Egypt, yet they were still journeying through the wilderness. In much the same way, we are citizens of Messiah’s Kingdom, yet we are still pilgrims on the journey.

The wilderness is real, but it is not forever. Our dwelling may be temporary, but His Kingdom is eternal. Give a listen!

The God Who Says: I Will

In this episode we consider Ezekiel 37:1-14 in message entitled “The God Who Says, ‘I Will.’” It is a message of hope, reminding us that when we come to the end of our own strength, we can trust in the God who cleanses, forgives, renews, restores, and gives life. Give a listen.

The Greater Son and the Horn of Salvation

The sound of the shofar on Rosh Hashanah (Yom Teruah) is a sound of remembrance and awakening. It calls us to remember the faithfulness of God, to examine our hearts, and to turn our attention once again toward the King.

For those of us who believe in Messiah Yeshua, the shofar also allows us to hear the Gospel within the story of Israel. We hear the ram’s horn and remember the Akedah, the Binding of Isaac. We remember the ram that the Lord provided in the place of Isaac. And as we remember that provision, we are drawn toward the greater Son and the greater redemption that the Lord has provided in Messiah. Give a listen.

    Ephesians Part 11

In this episode, we consider Ephesians 5:21-32, as Paul continues to move the believers from identity to intimacy, from knowing who we are in Messiah, to learning how that identity transforms every relationship. The ekklesia is not just a collection of individuals who have received salvation. It is a people learning to embody the character of Messiah together. Give a listen.

    The Personal Blessing

Numbers 6:22-27 is a beautiful blessing contained in the Torah. To hear the Kohanim chant this blessing in a synagogue service, or before the Kotel in Israel is haunting, and soul stirring. Its language is deeply personal, and its purpose is world transformational. What is it revealing to us? Give a listen!

    Ephesians Part 10

Ephesians 5 continues the practical exhortation that began in chapter 4. Paul has called the faithful to “walk worthy” of their calling (4:1), to put off the old humanity and put on the new (4:22-24), and to live as people whose lives have been transformed by Messiah. He now develops that calling through three related themes: walking in love, walking in light, and walking in wisdom. Give a listen!

    Ephesians Part 9

In Ephesians 4:17-32 Paul expounds upon the idea that those chosen before the foundation of the world, redeemed through the blood of Messiah, raised from death to life, reconciled into one new humanity, and built together as God's holy Temple must now walk in a manner worthy of that calling. What does it look like to practically live this life of faith? Give a listen.

    Ephesians Part 8

In Ephesians 4:1-16, the apostle Paul turns from doctrine to discipleship, from theology to conduct, from what the Lord has accomplished to how His redeemed people are to live. How do we mature in this faith? By relationship with the Lord, and by gift ministries, given by Messiah to His Body, who equip the saints for ministry. Give a listen!

    Ephesians Part 7

Paul concludes the doctrinal portion of his letter not with further argument, but with prayer and worship. Having unfolded God's eternal purpose to unite Jews and Gentiles in Messiah, he now prays that this truth would move beyond intellectual understanding and become the lived reality of the believing community. Give a listen!
