Birds, today Charleen and Ellie are bringing you some sad news.
After over four incredible years, 200+ episodes, and a whole lot of laughs, tears and chaos, Hold My Drink is coming to an end. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one made with so much love and gratitude.
Charleen and Ellie explain why now feels like the right time to step away, with big things to come in 2026! And instead of looking back, they're looking forward, sharing what they're excited for in this next chapter.
While reflecting on their journey, the girls also read your messages about how you're making next year your year, along with giving you some final advice in the last ever Red Flag Radar and Secrets From The Stalls.
From Charleen, Ellie and all of the GoLoud team, thank you so much for being here with us. Let's raise a glass to the next chapter!

Ellie is flying solo this week and is bringing you a conversation that gives most people in their twenties and thirties in Ireland the actual fear… mortgages.
Ellie are joined by her 'guardian angel', Sinead from Finance Solutions, who helped her through every step of the mortgage process and trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
Sinead breaks everything down into simple terms, answering all the questions you’re too afraid to ask like; when to start, what documents you need, what banks really care about, and the common mistakes that can trip people up along the way.
They cover the schemes, the fees, the credit score panics, saving for a deposit and all the mortgage myths that cause unnecessary stress. Including whether you need to be worried about the betting account or Klarna purchase!
And once the serious stuff is done, it’s back to business with Red Flag Radar. Is it ok for a man to jump in and order ahead of you in a restaurant? Or is it appropriate for your fella to go collect a Christmas present from his ex's Mam?
A huge thank you to Finance Solutions for sponsoring the interview segment of this podcast.

Charleen and Ellie share their peak and bleak of the week with all the excitement for Christmas and how they're feeling about decorating this year.
We've also got a dilemma from a listener who is at her wits end with her relationship. Despite coming through a really awful time when he cheated on her, their relatioship still isn't good and she doesn't know whether to keep working on it or move on.
In phone a friend, we're returning to a topic we covered only a few weeks ago on the podcast, should you tell on your best friend for cheating? This listener has actually already told her best friend's boyfriend, but her friend has continued to treat him badly and she doesn't know if she should intervene again. So we got your thoughts on the whole situation!

Well birds you are in for an absolute treat this week as we bring you the answers to all of the 'women problems' in the world.
Charleen and Ellie are joined by the icon who's got Ireland talking openly about everything from periods to pubes and pelvic floors.
Laura Dowling, aka The Fabulous Pharmacist, is a leading women’s health advocate and has just released her new book Love Your Vulva. Not only is she totally science-backed as a pharmacist, but she’s also absolutely hilarious and breaks down the stigma of everything female health related.
Laura even brought along Saoirse, her trusty vulva puppet, for a full female anatomy lesson. Plus all the juicy truths about what’s normal, what’s not, and why you suddenly want to jump the snickers-wearing builder down the road at a certain time of the month.
Charleen and Ellie also put your red flags and dilemmas to Laura!

Charleen and Ellie are peaking after the buzz of the live show in Limerick this week! They share how they've been feeling along with Ellie's latest house delivery and Charleen's Christmas in NYC.
For our dilemma this week, we've had a listener get in touch who is in a tough situation with her boyfriend. She recently found out he's been gambling a lot and ever since, despite promising he'll stop, he's been much more sneaking with his phone. The girls offer their advice on whether checking his bank account is too much, or if she can even trust him again. Charleen shares how she's been through this before and how it ended up.
In Phone A Friend we've a listener who is feel lost and behind as she navigates first year of college, especially when it comes to boys. You gave some amazing support as always.

Charleen and Ellie are diving into one of the most requested topics ever...porn.
After getting tons of emails from the birds worried about their boyfriends’ habits, from late-night searches to secret Instagram scrolls, the girls knew it was time to call in an expert.
This week they’re joined by David Kavanagh, a psychotherapist who specialises in porn addiction and couples therapy. He breaks down why so many young men are hooked, what porn is actually doing to their brains, and how it can absolutely destroy relationships.
Is watching porn normal? How much is too much? Is it the same as cheating? And can trust ever be rebuilt once it’s broken? David answers it all. Plus, the girls go through your dilemmas on confronting your partner, spotting the red flags, and what to do if you’re feeling insecure, rejected or confused.
This is in an episode every woman needs to hear, but also needs to play to her partner.

Charleen and Ellie are back answering all of your steamy dilemmas.
This month we've got a listener who's worried about her libido and how often you 'should' be having sex with your partner, and a very clever queen who is looking for help with having the STI conversation with a new partner. He doesn't 'like how condoms feel', so you bet the girls have some no nonsense advice along with some scary stats that have us all running out to get tested!
And our sauciest dilemma is about long distance relationships and keeping the spark alive, which has Charleen and Ellie squirming in thinking about what they would do. They talk sexting, nudes and even app controlled sex toys.

Birds, it’s our 200th episode, can you cope?!
To celebrate the big podcast milestone Charleen and Ellie are taking a trip down memory lane. We're talking the best guests, the live shows, the breakups, the chaos and every unhinged moment in between. The girls laugh at some of their 'best bit' clips, hear your gorgeous messages and even get a special message from their parents. Yes, there were tears.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a HMD episode without your dilemmas. We’ve got a juicy Red Flag Radar and a chaotic Secrets From the Stalls, which had the girls doubling down on their opinions on period sex, and resulted in them telling a listener to bin that man immediately!
Thank you for listening, for crying with us, for laughing with us, and for holding our drink for 200 episodes. Here’s to 200 more. 🥂❤️

Charleen and Ellie are back with their peak and bleak of the week! Ellie is feeling a bit under the weather, while Charleen is absolutely thriving after a wild Saturday in town.
This week’s dilemma comes from a listener who gave her boyfriend a second chance after catching him emotionally cheating, only for him to refuse to tell her who the other girl was. She’s wondering is ignorance actually bliss, or can you ever really move on without the truth?
In Phone a Friend, you sent in so much advice for another listener who feels completely trapped and controlled by her boyfriend, but is terrified to end things before a big family holiday. Let’s just say the responses were very one-sided!
