We were incredibly lucky to attend Robbie’s Long 90’s gig at Dingwalls in Camden, where he performed both his debut solo album Life Thru A Lens and his brand-new record BRITPOP from start to finish! 

With phones banned inside the venue, we set out to capture some of the vibe by chatting with fans in the queue about which Life Thru A Lens songs they were most excited to hear, and which BRITPOP tracks have already become favourites.

We’re joined by Mark from Northern Ireland, creator of the amazing @brit_cult Instagram page, who explains why he started his page, why he loves Robbie and his highlights from this unforgettable show. 

Plus, Mandy from the UK helps us relive the gig, track by track, as we piece together every moment we can remember from Robbie’s smallest ever ticketed concert!

It’s the podcast’s 4th birthday! And we’re marking the occasion with a very special guest – the incredible Elle (Lorraine) Cato, one of Robbie Williams’s amazing backing vocalists.

Elle’s career began when she was just 15, signing as a solo artist with Columbia Records while still at school. From there, she became a sought-after vocal tutor, which opened the door to singing backing vocals for boyband Blue. Since then, Elle has toured or recorded with a dazzling list of artists including Will Young, Ellie Goulding, Van Morrisson, Anastacia, Lisa Stansfield, Jamiroquai and many more. 

Elle first sang with Robbie at private gigs back in 2012, but she joined his tour for the first time during XXV in 2023. Now, alongside Denosh Bennett and Sara Jane Skeete, she’s a vital part of Robbie’s live sound, wowing audiences every night on the Britpop tour, especially during those unforgettable band intros!

We’re back with another special episode of Robbie Williams Rewind, and this time we’re joined by the brilliant Owen Parker!

Owen has been Robbie’s keyboardist since 2019, joining the band for his Las Vegas residency and the epic XXV Tour. A vital part of Robbie’s musical team, he’s also co-written and worked closely with Robbie and Karl Brazil on The Christmas Present including tracks like “Home,” “Darkest Night,” and “Can’t Stop Christmas”, and more recently, on Robbie’s upcoming album Britpop.

In this special episode, we’re joined by the incredibly talented Jenny Griffin, who’s had a pivotal impact on Robbie Williams' career in two major ways. As the assistant choreographer on Better Man, Jenny worked alongside choreographer Ashley Wallen and director Michael Gracey, helping bring unforgettable moments to life, like the epic Rock DJ scene on Regent Street with 500 dancers and the stunning She’s The One sequence.

Jenny’s also been a part of Robbie’s dance team since 2016, debuting in the Party Like A Russian video. She went on to become the dance captain for his Heavy Entertainment Show and XXV tours, and even portrayed Theresa May in the Can’t Stop Christmas video! We’re delighted to bring you another Better Man interview - we’re joined by singer Adam Tucker, who provided vocals for Robbie Williams in the film.

Adam tells us about the unique way he secured the role and explains why it was necessary to have someone younger sing some of Robbie’s vocals, to match the Robbie reflected in the film.

He discusses the integration of CGI and the unique experience of blending his singing with Jonno Davies’s portrayal of Robbie, before WETA worked their special effects magic to create the finished movie.

Adam even shares details of some voice notes he received from Rob of previously unrecorded songs, to help him capture the essence of Robbie.
