Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a condition in which the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of androgens, male sex hormones that are usually present in women in small amounts.     In this episode, Yady Zikry from batch of 19/24 will be talking about Syphilis. Syphilis is a bacterial infection usually spread by sexual contact. The disease starts as a painless sore — typically on the genitals, rectum or mouth. Syphilis spreads from person to person via skin or mucous membrane contact with these sores.

    Introduction to HIV

    In this episode, Zeyyad Iman from batch of 19/24 will be talking about HIV. HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that attacks the body's immune system. If HIV is not treated, it can lead to AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). There is currently no effective cure. Once people get HIV, they have it for life. But with proper medical care, HIV can be controlled.

CKD is a disease characterised by gradual loss of kidney function over more than 3 months. As of 2018, there are currently more than 44,000 patients on dialysis in Malaysia according to the National Renal Registry which is more than 15% of the Malaysian population.
