A website had been published about Lee and his life as an apparently flawless human being incapable of murder. It’s yet another brazen move from an entitled good ole boy who thinks the normal procedures of the justice system don’t apply to him.

On Tuesday, Mandy received a tip that thrice-accused rapist Bowen Turner, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, had been at his county golf course that morning throwing back beers in direct violation of his latest parole conditions. With receipts in hand, Mandy immediately went to the authorities and ole Bowen Turner was arrested that evening.
On today’s episode, Mandy and Liz talk about the behind the scenes of Bowen’s latest run-in with the law and what happens next, plus they share recordings of Bowen talking with his parents in the days before and after his latest parole hearing this past September. One thing they learned? Bowen’s dad had predicted Bowen’s golf club demise on Tuesday.
Also on the show, the latest in the Mica Francis case and JP Miller’s collection of frivolous lawsuits against peaceful protesters — including an email that JP sent to three of the defendants’ lawyer, offering his unsolicited ideas on how they can settle his cases against them.

On Wednesday, two more cases against the protesters were dropped, making that three out of 33. Already, JP’s sloppy attempts at silencing his detractors are being called out in court.

Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell continue shining sunlight on the Mica Francis story.
On today’s episode, a former church member being sued by JP Miller turns the tables on him with a fiery counterclaim. According to court filings, THREE DAYS before Mica’s death, JP asked this church member to write “Dedicated to Mica” on the website of the church’s Dare2Care program, a mission that was important to Mica. Was this unfortunate timing? Or does this point to something more nefarious?
The former church member also accuses JP of using his pulpit to shame and bully Mica and of retaliation after the church member and his wife decided they’d had enough of him and left the church. Also on the show, in one of the most deranged calls to 911 yet, JP tells police that protesters are yelling the 'n-word' at church members and could “pull a gun” at any minute and he describes them as blondes, wearing sweaters and no makeup.

But here's the twist: this is the same man accused of stalking his late wife, Mica, who was denied a restraining order against him....
On today’s episode, the LUNASHARK Team received the official coroner’s report in the death of Chris Skinner, the quadriplegic man who drowned in his neighborhood pool shortly after he reportedly confronted his wife, Suzie, and Pastor JP Miller about their alleged affair. Was it an accident, as ruled? Or is there more to the story? We examine discrepancies in the official reports of how Chris ended up in the water... and video footage that suggest it may have been intentional...?
Also on the show, an intake form from a family law firm that JP Miller appears to have consulted in February 2024 for representation in his divorce contains some VERY interesting information, including the name of the person who referred him to the firm. Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell continue their deep dive into the Mica Francis case in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Today’s episode begins with a clarification concerning Mica’s divorce attorney Regina Ward and the settlement terms reached between JP Miller and Mica’s family this past summer.
Also on the show, in a press conference in June 2024, Regina Ward shared a list of abuses that Mica allegedly experienced at the hands of Pastor JP Miller … alleged abuses that mirror a proposed coercive control law that failed three times to make it out of state legislative committee. In that press briefing, Regina said that had this law been enacted before Mica’s death there was a possibility it could have saved her life. Mandy and Liz take another look at the proposed law and a provision that seems like it would have protected JP more than it would have protected Mica.
Plus, JP is up to his old antics and has filed 10 new civil lawsuits against an assortment of protesters and content creators. And Part Two of the very cozy and strange emails JP Miller and his righthand woman Tricia Ross sent to police regarding Mica.

Investigative journalists — and proud “podcasters” — Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell reveal the latest in the Mica Francis story, starting with emails from JP Miller and his sidekick Tricia Ross that were sent to police days after Mica’s death, urging the police to investigate one of their own in connection to Mica’s death.
Yes, seriously. Turns out May 2 was a very bad day for JP Miller. Not only did he have to explain himself to his partners at the Myrtle Beach bar he had a stake in, he seemed to be on a war path as he pointed his finger at Heather Wilson, his alleged former ally at Horry County Police Department. JP — demonstrating once again that he thinks the police work directly for him — wanted the department to investigate Heather for Mica’s death because she is the mother of the man Mica was hanging out with on March 11 and the man who JP later called and berated.
Mandy and Liz share the first installment of the texts and emails that came back from reporter Beth Braden’s FOIA for communications between JP and the police. Also on the show, we'll look at the waterfront home in Myrtle Beach that Wayne Miller had financial ties to and who ultimately came into possession of the home. We have the scoop — including an interview between Beth and mica's attorney Regina Ward.
Plus, the latest in the Nautilus trial, which had Cory Fleming back up on the stand this week in federal court... and ultimately the jury came back with a verdict in Nautilus' favor, declaring that Cory Fleming owes them $1.25 Million in compensatory damages plus $50.00 in punitive damages. On Thursday, January 9th, (after publishing this episode) Judge Gergel found and ordered that Defendant Fleming committed a willful or knowing violation of SCUTPA and hereby trebles Plaintiff's damages, resulting in an award of $3,750,000.00 plus reasonable attorney’s fees.

Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell - along with researcher and reporter Beth Braden - take a fresh look at what Myrtle Beach Pastor JP Miller seemed to be saying in his bizarre ramblings in front of his congregation the day after his wife, Mica Francis, died.
And then they go back even further to explore the insidious messages JP seems to have received from his semi-famous father, Pastor Wayne Miller, during his divorce from JP’s mom in 2001. From telling the court about “unexplained lingerie” and “unwholesome” conversations over AOL, Wayne Miller responded to his estranged wife’s accusations with a fiery vengeance as he sought to maintain custody of his children and pay zero dollars and zero cents in alimony.
Also on the show, journalist/researcher Beth Braden reports on the latest strange dealings that appear to have grown from Solid Rock Ministries, specifically a massive transfer of assets to JP’s assistant AND a new nonprofit filing attached to several people in the JP MIller ecosystem.
