Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell look at how Boyd and Williams’ claims of self-defense compare to that of Anijah Yarnell. Yarnell killed a man in 2020 which the court determined was a justified Stand Your Ground shooting in 2023 and the state is appealing that decision.
It seems Attorney General Alan Wilson has two different ways of determining “who” qualifies for Stand Your Ground immunity … and it seems to have nothing to do with the evidence and EVERYTHING to do with who the shooters are.
Also on today’s show, we continue our investigation of the shooting homicides of Charity Beallis and her two 5-year old twins in Bonanza, Arkansas. No arrests have been made and multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Secret Service are working on the case.
While Charity’s husband Randy Beallis denies any wrong doing, we’re diving deeper into Randy’s past that reveals an allegedly violent history. A history that prosecutors acknowledged when they offered him a sweetheart deal for choking Charity in 2025. Two months after that plea deal… Charity and the twins were dead.

On Monday, “Pastor” Churchy Business bro John-Paul Miller had to face a federal judge in Florence to plead “not guilty” to a single felony charge of cyberstalking his wife Mica Francis for a year and a half before her death … as well as a single count of lying to federal investigators about the extent of his stalking. The judge set JP’s unsecured bond at $100K and ordered him to be tracked via a GPS ankle monitor because he’s considered a flight risk.
Two days after JP’s hearing, Mandy and Liz were keeping tabs on another federal case involving one of South Carolina's worst men, former statehouse representative and admitted pedophile RJ May, who was sentenced to 17 and a half years for distributing child sexual abuse materials.
It was a great week for justice.

Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell are ready to celebrate as Myrtle Beach “Pastor” John-Paul Miller is finally going to federal court on Jan. 12 in Florence, South Carolina. He’ll be arraigned on two charges related to why his estranged wife, Mica, allegedly killed herself in April 2024.
Plus, Mandy and Liz begin peeling back the layers on the Charity Beallis case in Bonanza, Arkansas. Charity, who was 40, was found shot to death in December 2025 alongside the bodies of her 6-year-old twins in their house the DAY AFTER her final divorce hearing.
No suspects have been named yet and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, has denied having anything to do with their deaths. The investigation includes six law enforcement agencies, including the United States Secret Service and Homeland Security Investigations, but little information has been given to the public on the status of the case. In the meantime, there’s plenty to discuss … especially when it comes to Randall and his dark past.

For almost 20 months, investigative journalists Mandy Matney, Liz Farrell and Beth Braden have covered the Mica Francis case. They’ve filed dozens of Freedom of Information Act requests, listened to hours of recordings, gone through stacks of police reports, court documents, transcripts and text messages to piece together what the final months, weeks and days of Mica’s life looked like as she tried to extricate herself from her husband, “Pastor” John Paul Miller.
On April 27, 2024 — the day Mica killed herself in a remote part of a North Carolina swamp — JP was the leader of Solid Rock Ministries in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he had built, destroyed and rebuilt his megachurch all while, according to records and accusations made by family, friends and former church members, using his position of power and his so-called connection to God to bully, harass and torment his young wife, Mica — all the while denying wrongdoing and escaping accountability.
On Dec. 18, 2025, the United States Government announced that JP Miller (finally) was going to be held accountable for his alleged actions against Mica, who investigators say killed herself as a result of JP’s threats and abuse.
He has been charged with one count of cyberstalking for his alleged actions between Nov. 16, 2022 and the day of Mica’s death and one count of lying to federal investigators. Today we’re enjoying vindication and a day of celebration that Mandy and Liz hope will have more people talking about the effects of coercive control abuse.

(3:30) First up on the show, the "Green Shirt Guy" Brian Stahlheber—who was charged in the unhinged Squiresgate incident on Hilton Head this past September—has filed the whiniest 18-page motion for a speedy trial imaginable, complete with a cartoon about TikTok followers preventing justice. We wish we were kidding.
(27:15) Meanwhile, Horry County officials scrambled to scrub former Public Safety Director Randy Webster's name from a $24 million building after sexual harassment allegations surfaced. Randy's defense to HR? He was "just being friendly." Liz and Mandy go through Randy’s statement to HR on Oct. 17, the same day he abruptly decided to leave his position. And it is everything that is wrong with certain men when it comes to the workplace.
But the real outrage? (51:00) South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson broke his own policy against commenting on ongoing investigations to go on his cousin's podcast and spew nonsense about the Scott Spivey case.

Shortly after Mallory Beach's death, Mallory’s family filed a lawsuit in search of justice and accountability and an assurance that Parker’s Kitchen would shore up the training of their cashiers when it comes to the sale of alcohol to minors.
