    Made to Explore
On this week’s brand new episode of A Million Little Adventures I got a chance to sit down with entrepreneurs and fellow travel and adventure enthusiasts, Dean and Shan of ADVNTR Brand. In our conversation, we talk all things ADVNTR Brand and how they came to develop and start up their own company during the height of the pandemic. This episode dives in with a little taste into the minds of Dean and Shan and we talk about their passions, their interests, and what their goals and dreams are for the future. Together, they’ve developed a brand that is proudly Canadian that is meant to inspire others to live life outside their comfort zones (while wearing the comfiest apparel 😏). Did I mention that for EVERY purchase made with ADVNTR Brand, 1 tree is planted, incredible! Life Journeys with Chery Hasni
It’s the people you meet along the way. On a brand new episode of A Million Little Adventures, I get to sit down and chat with someone I met at the beginning of my solo backpacking trip back at the beginning of 2019. I met Chery Hasni outside a local grocery store in the streets of Chiang Mai, Thailand. While our encounter and conversation was brief and probably only lasted about 30 mins or so, connecting with Chery on our passion for travel and love for culture is something I will never forget. With having travel 80+ countries, I consider Chery as an inspiring example of a solo female traveler. She does it all, from traveling and exploring to being a successful business woman to feeding her soul with culture and recently becoming a certified Yoga Teacher, you could say Chery definitely has had a million little adventures and counting. In our chat we talk about where her love of travel began, the impact that the pandemic had on her travel plans and the adventures she has her sights on for the future. This was such a fun episode and I hope you all enjoy. Be sure to check out Chery’s page and see all the adventures she gets up to! #amillionlittleadventures Instagram: @chery.hasni @amillionlittleadventures Twitter: @amladventures

    Adventures with Clementine
This week on A Million Little Adventures, we have a fun little episode. I got a chance to bring back a previous guest that was on the podcast exactly ONE year ago today. This was not planned hahaha. Ally Goodlet is back for another episode and we check back in with her one year since her, AMLA debut. What’s new with Ally? Well she shares a brief life update on what’s being going on with her since our last chat on the pod. Some of the highlights include officially being certified as a yoga instructor, making big moves in her company and of course sharing our love for travel. The big topic of the episode, however, centres on Ally sharing the adventures of raising a new puppy. Her beautiful golden retriever, Clementine, is the focus of this week’s episode as Ally shares the thrills and sometimes difficult parts about racing your own little fur baby. Make sure to turn in! #amillionlittleadventures Instagram: @adventureswithclementine @amillionlittleadventures Twitter: @amladventures

Mindful Awareness with Corin De Sousa
During these unprecedented times, it is easy to get swept away with the stressers of life and how it is often even more difficulty to manage them. On this week’s episode of A Million Little Adventures, I get the pleasure of chatting with founder and mindfulness instructor, Corin De Sousa of Mindful Awareness. Fun Fact: Corin and I went to high school together and she was the one who recommended the recruiter I went with that helped me go to South Korea. From sharing strategies on how to mindfully manage stress, to explaining the importance of compassionate mindfulness and the benefits of informal mindfulness practices, Corin and I reflect on how little moments of mindful practices can improve our over all well-being. Such a valuable episode to listen over and over again. Changing Perspectives: Canada’s Next Great Podcaster
One of the things I’ve learned from this podcast is that sometimes, not everything goes the way you plan it or how you hope and expect it to be. Rather than letting that hinder the process, sometimes it just takes a new perspective to help you move forward. As is the case with a lot of things in life. This week on a brand new episode of A Million Little Adventures, I took a chance and entered a contest. A GoDaddy Contest looking for Canada’s Next Great Podcaster! The prize for the contest was a $5,000 cash prize as well as a 10-episode series on a local radio show. Pretty cool right? I thought why the heck not?? Unfortunately, I did not end up winning. Did I really think I was going to win? No. However I felt myself sparked with joy from trying something new. Something that I have been missing for sometime now. Entering the contest helped me realized something I had forgotten, progress is more important than perfection. So, please enjoy this week’s podcast I as share my LASIK Adventure. Still one of the best decisions, I’ve ever made to this day. I hope you enjoy the episode. I would love to hear your thoughts. #amillionlittleadventures Instagram: @amillionlittleadventures Twitter: @amladventures

    Chasing Adventures with Jeremy Fox
Another week, a brand new episode! This week I get the pleasure of chatting with recruiter and talented photographer, Jeremy Fox. Jeremy and I crossed paths while we were both teaching English in South Korea. From talking about his adventures abroad in countries in South East Asia, New Zealand and Mexico to sharing our love for South Korea to creating roots in California; we made it a great little catchup. I was especially excited to chat with Jeremy about his photography skills and how he uses his drone photography as a form of escapism to capture breath taking landscapes. Be sure to check out Jeremy’s page to follow his adventures. His photography will leave you in awe with how well he captures the beauties of Mother Nature. #amillionlittleadventures Instagram: @amillionlittleadventures Jeremy’s Instagram: @jfox.foto Twitter: @amladventures

Striving to Leave the World a Better Place with Tychon
After a brief hiatus, A Million Little Adventures is back baby with a brand new episode! Nothing better than starting it off with an exceptional guest! On this week’s brand new episode, I got the pleasure of sitting down with a man of many talents. An Urban Planner, Content Creator, Motivational Speaker, Model, the list goes on and on. But some of you may know him as the crowned winner of the historic season of Big Brother Canada Season 9, Tychon Carter-Newman!!! The super fan in me could have gone on and on to talk all things Big Brother Canada with the winner himself, however, Tychon and I took the time to chat all about his role in the conversation of Mental Health, his activism and pursuit for Diversity and Inclusion and of course it isn’t an #AMLA episode if we don’t dive into some of his favourite adventures in life and travelling abroad. This is an episode you don’t want to miss! #amillionlittleadventures tychoncarter.com YouTube: Tychon’s World (https://youtube.com/channel/UC24hEUtid_w8fyrG3kS2Idg)

    2022
During these first few days of the new year, I really found myself questioning what to celebrate, what to look forward to. It’s crazy to look back on the past two years and ask myself, what have I really done? At times that question makes me cringe, because the answer isn’t much. For the first episode of 2022, I talk lightly on the importance of taking care of yourself in the new year. Now more than ever it is so important to do the things that make you happy and spark joy. Your accomplishments in the past year don’t have to be extravagant. They can be as big as simply getting out of bed each morning. I also dive a little bit into my goals for 2022. As the end of the year recaps and highlight reels roll in, I’m learning to remind myself that happiness looks different for everyone else and comparison hinders growth. From the wise words of Lesley, from last week’s episode I will enter 2022 letting go of unreasonable expectations and embrace the path meant for me. Cheers to the New Year! #amillionlittleadventures

Let Go and Go with the Flow with Lesley
For the last episode in 2021 for A Million Little Adventures and last guest of the year, I thought I’d bring in a friend to reminisce about their crazy adventures as a fellow female solo traveller. This week I got a chance to catch up with my friend Lesley as we spoke about how her interest in travel began, her backpacking trip post Korea, starting from scratch and going down a new path, as well as her journey starting and growing her own business, Evolved Essentials. I had so much fun catching up with Lesley, a great, especially reminiscing about a crazy mountain story that only her and I will share together! Be sure to tune in! #amillionlittleadventures
